he did end up serving 2 years in the Army. my uncle was rejected for having flat feet. Trump for heel spurs? during WWII both would have been drafted. interestingly, most enlisted during WWII never saw combat. probably only 1 in 4 or 5 did. the rest were part of the structure required to supply front line troops.

Clinton famously gamed the ROTC program to stay out of Vietnam.

most of my older cousins enlisted in either the Air Force or Navy rather than being drafted into the Army as ground troops. did they dodge anything? nope. one cousin was on a carrier supporting the Army and Marines with air strikes. the other was at an Air Force base in Laos that didn't exist bahhaa .. at least not publicly.

face it libs. as many now Republicans as Democrats avoided service during Vietnam. to claim Trump dodged the draft opens up the same criticism to anyone who took a deferment. nothing illegal about it. oh and my dad not only had to maintain grades but also had to score in the top 10 percent to get that deferment. one would assume Trump had to as well, at the least made grades yeah?
