the strip club scene never interested me much .. even if i did pull some strange wool out of it ... it was the demise of the amp scene that hurt the most.

at least the bar scene is Louisville is still robust ... the hours are 6 am to 4 am. yep ... open at 6 am .. close at 4 am. 22 hours a day. and there are 120 counties in Kentucky .. only 20 are wet ... very wet that is ..

on Derby Eve bars are allowed to stay open 24 hours for that one day only .. what a party!! for one day .. Louisville Interplanetary Airport is the busiest airport in the nation. bahhaaa

i have two Rolex watches .. one my Dad gave me as a gift, the other i stole off a drunk high roller passed out in an alley off 3rd Street near Churchill Downs on Derby Eve. fuck him .. he shouldn't have passed out.

we also used to have The Derby Eve Jam .. great concert. many great bands played it. alas .. it no longer exists. well not like it did .. it was held at Freedom Hall .. now its some Water Front Jam bullshit downtown along the water front.
