So twice this year in the metro they have found actual human trafficking of underage girls. Man that Child Exploitation Task Force is effective and totally not a waste of taxpayer dollars.

Anyway glad the dude got caught and the girl got to safety.

I know I wouldn't have used those services because I would never see anyone that willingly stays at that crap shack. That place is already on the LE radar because of the low hanging fruit types that post on craigslist. It's not unusual to see marked cars in the lot while they pick some low hanging fruit up.

Is it a must they (reveal)(and) use marked cars?...

Deterrence, since ownership turns a blind eye they are trying to show people using it for illicit purposes that law enforcement is paying attention.

I always look for marked cars, sometimes casing the entire radius. Lol. And speaking of deterrence, I won't approach unless I'm very much certain it's legitimately her I'm going up to see. I've left many more times than I've actually met, as a result of this.

Would hate to think I've been just getting lucky, all this time, when I do give myself the green light. Never even truly crossed my mind, the possibility of unmarked cars being a threat...

I look for marked cars and also any unmarked vehicles that seem suspicious in close proximity. Running vehicles with no lights on at night with a couple big burly dudes screams LE to me. So yeah, I've bolted on many potential providers before over marked cars nearby, and anything that seems off.

Unmarked cars should be your last check. After you're certain that no suspicious unmarked vehicles are present that may or may not have people in them.

That's a basic version of my process prior to meeting someone new. I've bolted on ladies over location alone.

Law enforcement are surely aware of some of the more popular locations that BP types use.

The day to day Vice budget has to be quite low. So they have to be spending their time busting low hanging fruit off craiglist casual encounters (they seriously post location and room number...talk about asking for it) and building research on backpage.

I wouldn't doubt they have handles and lurk on the usa site (since certain sites aren't to be mentioned in full here), maybe even here, and possibly even p411.

Traveling ladies can probably tell you about cities they've been to that have busted ladies that have never been on BP by flipping other ladies or hobbyists (in exchange for lesser charges or something like that). Then using their now compromised accounts to arrange meets with ladies who only post here or even the rare case where they get a lady who is only on p411.

Still 90 plus percent of all busts will come off bp. It's the easiest place for le to find ladies who don't screen and men who are unfortunate enough to respond to their ad.

Periodically they will get a well known lady who gets sloppy and doesn't check references and so on. Those of us who have lurked or been here long enough remember an ATF that admitted she let her screening lapse and trusted instead of checking references and verifying.

Bottom line, you can never be too careful, no pussy is worth risking a set of silver bracelets.

If anything ever seems weird as an experienced hobbyist stick to a script that never mentions sex or money.

Stick to things like dating (meeting someone anywhere for a date is not illegal until a sex act is mentioned and an exchange of funds occurs), dancing (learn the law for the state you are in, private stripping is legal as long as no sex acts occur or the possible limit on level of nudity is not surpassed...don't mention money...if its a bust they're going to try to get you for something for just showing up), and modeling (Modeling is legal as long as any nudity threshold is not broken nor does a sex act occur...same as previous...if you get up to leave, there will probably be someone just outside the door...at that point get a lawyer and as long as the video they are surely making has nothing on it, you can probably get out of it...still going to be an ass pain as there will probably be media, etc.).

Don't mention massage, as a traveling hobbyist I have found in some areas during my research that they use massage to give ladies silver bracelets for not being licensed or certified.

Research is your friend and always go with your gut, the little head will always lead you into possible trouble. The big head and your gut will help you avoid the embarrassment that comes with getting a set of silver bracelets.

I'm very sure I've bolted on a few busts myself and ended up finding a trusted lady to fill in short notice.

I've heard P411 alerts if a provider is or could possibly be compromised (not sure how they would know).
