Regardless of who is President, why do we expect any of them to cure all of our ills in 4 years?

I didn't vote for anyone in Congress based upon their track record of which hunts. They're supposed to be there "fixing" things not stirring shit like Russian involvement or birth certificates.

All these assholes should be on a timecard with a minimum allotted to time on the floor of the House or Senate.

GET BACK TO WORK!!!

Russia is an example of Trump's success.

While the media and politicians are stoking antagonism against the Russians with false claims which could easily lead to a nuclear war Trump is singularly working to bring out the truth and reduce tensions.

What do the scholars and experts say about the claims about Russia? Gee all the Russians experts you can find on Youtube or anywhere else like Stephen Cohen and John Mersheimer all say that the Russians have done absolutely nothing, and that all the claims made about them are lies.

These are the real experts. These are University professors who've spent their lives studying what the Russians are doing and have done in the past.

If you want to have a nuclear war with the Russians because venal politicians like McCain and Lindsey Graham want to make a name for themselves, or because CNN wants higher ratings (they have almost no audience today), then go ahead.

But now we have a peace loving President who will work for relaxation of tensions and mutual cooperation, which is something the war loving types like both George Bushes and both Clintons would never do.

His accomplishment is not being taken down by false accusations made by people on the Left who in reality hate our Democracy and want to overturn the election through dirty tricks because of their antipathy for Trump for one reason only, which is that he dares to question the ideals of political correctness.

His survival alone is a success which is HUGE (as he would say).

I agree with you that the budget issues are wrong headed. He doesn't know what else to do except try to slash everything because he singularly realizes the dangers involved with debt. What he's trying to do is to get to a point where growth will increase revenues and achieve a balanced budget. To do this his first priorities are to redress free trade regimes which have caused incomes to plummet, and also to address the high corporate tax rates which have leaving trillions in corporate profits offshore.

Health care is more difficult because although the ACA is not sustainable there are now millions of people who benefit through it and those people will suffer when it's repealed.

So it's a situation where millions will lose coverage and many will go without the care they had before, but there is no choice because the premiums are unaffordable and too many providers are bailing out.

You mean like the probably false accusations brought against Hillary Clinton that went a long way to putting Trump in office? I'm still waiting for Trump to live up to his promise to appoint a special prosecutor to bring Clinton to "justice".

There has to be a better solution to health care than taking coverage away from about 26 million people. Every analysis of the proposed AHCA says that it benefits the rich at the expense of the poor. As does the budget. And the tax plan gives the majority of the tax breaks to the rich rather than us middle class flunkees.

As I said before, all of Trumps's significant proposals, ones that affect people like you and me the most, are built on a house of cards. If the proposed AHCA, when finally adopted, does not deliver the Medicaid dollars in savings that Trump has asked for, there won't be the money for the tax plan, the proposed budget, infrastructure improvements, or anything else that requires huge spending increases. That is why Trump is pushing the AHCA so hard. And there is no way the budget will be balanced with all the proposed spending.

The accusations against Hilary are well documented, and no President will ever prosecute their political opponent for anything. Once the election is won everything moves on, and looking back would be highly criticized no matter what the former candidate did.

I wish there were a way to provide health coverage for everyone like other countries do, but they are not saddled with the greedy Doctors, hospitals, labs and device manufacturers we have. Our care is so much more expensive than everyone else's that providing the same coverage for everyone is simply unaffordable. Under the ACA premiums are going sky high because of everything the carriers are mandated to cover. We just can't afford to cover everyone.

So, what actual things can you point to that defines success with Russia as an example of his success? That we have not engaged in thermonuclear warfare? If that's the case, every President since Truman would be considered successful. That the Russians have painted but not shot down our aircraft in Syria? Is that success? W said he looked into Putin's eyes and trusted him... Clinton helped Yeltsin. WTF? Is it W's or Clinton's fault that former Soviet Bloc countries wanted the safety (and better economic path) of the EU and NATO, thereby pissing off Tsar Putin?

You then wrap up by saying Trump is peace loving. Have you been following his recent statements on North Korea? "Strategic patience is over" and all that? That is truly a dangerous place. The previous 4 presidents (i.e., the war loving types) all stepped lightly on NK due to the risks of a major, 1M+ casualty war and yet your "peace" president is doing some serious saber rattling.

Has anyone read about what happened to the 2 kids this guy was a foster parent for? I'm just shocked this guy was a free man before all this happened, just based on that.
