411 for Charli & Margeaux
Hi guys,
I'm visiting NOLA for work in two weeks. I'm interested in setting an appointment up with
Charli & Margeaux www.charliandmargeaux.com
Communication is very professional and smooth, but they ask for a small giftcard deposit to secure and confirm the time/appointment.
It seems like they have no-review policy since I cannot find much about them online. I'd really appreciate any info or advice regarding these two ladies.
The amount is not a lot, but I'd hope to know if they are good providers and whether my risk of being ditched after getting the deposit is low.
Of course if you have recommendations of reliable providers with slender body, feel free to offer.
Thanks, and have a great weekend.

Discernment is key. Which also means being able to note when companions are clearly reputable. The review policies maintained by certain boards are highly problematic. My personal feeling about receiving reviews is pretty neutral because I engage in very thorough screening for compatibility. But I don't fault any escort who refuses to be reviewed. And while I don't know the deposit amount they require, I'm pretty sure it's peanuts compared to the value of their content portfolio and the time they invest in thoughtfully crafting a dynamic and creative web presence.

Lena makes a very good point.
Their photos are all professionally done, that's not cheap. Additionally they have a high quality website. Not one of the cheap cookie cutter ones commonly used.
Also if you look on the friends section of their site you will find several well reviewed providers. A reputable provider would not let their reputation be associated with scammers.
I haven't met them yet, but I'm planning on seeing them with another lady who in my opinion is above reproach.
I have zero concerns about Charli and Margaeux's authenticity.

I totally agree with what Lena and DasAmbas have said.
I require security deposits too--for appointments longer than 4 hours. I started doing this because it takes significant planning on my part, and I don't want to make the time in my schedule for an appointment that a client cannot or will not commit to by sending the deposit for it. When a client complies with my deposit policy it shows me two things 1. that they will probably follow through with the appointment and 2. they are someone who is respectful of my policies, time, and boundaries.
Something you might want to consider is that since it's a double, TWO people are setting aside the time in their schedule to prepare for the appointment and meet with you.

Lena, DasAmebas, and Audrey already raised very good points, all valid for anyone looking to verify the authenticity of providers with no reviews. Reviews are not the be all and end all of sex work; it's essential to give attention to other points as well.
Charli and Margeaux are not only personal friends but also work partners, listed on my website as such. I vouch for them, as they are serious about what they do, and provide high quality services. They are knowledgeable, experienced, and enthusiastic about what they do. You couldn't be in better hands whatever the experience you're looking for is, and especially if it's a kinky one.
Pay the deposit with confidence. Any money you throw their way is money very well spent.

Thanks everyone for responding. Your positive notions are pretty much expected, I just want to stop by here to make sure my big head is thinking, and not just my dick head (pun intended).
I'd like to specifically thank Lena, Audrey, and Zorah for your response. In fact, I learned about the Honey House from Lena and Audrey since you both visit Chicago a few times a year (Obviously you caught my eyes). Then it was just couple clicks away from Honey House to Zorah's site and then to Charli and Margeaux.
Additionally, this is a rare opportunity for me to connect/interact with indy providers without having to inquire appointment. Thank you for taking the time to explain a lot more than I ask from your perspectives. It's very informative since I believe everyone approaches his/her work/life style somewhat differently. I really appreciate your professionalism and help.
This is my first time trying to connect and meet with awesome ladies from New Orleans, specifically the ladies from this pretty cool network of indy kinksters/providers. I hope in near future, we will cross path in Chicago or New Orleans.

Anytime I see that a hooker has a no-review policy, I ask: What does she have to hide?

I don't know if they actually have no-review policy or not, I just couldn't find much more about them beyond their own crafty website. Your question is legit, and is a risk that I have to take since I do want to connect with them.

I cannot speak as to whether or not Charli & Margaux have a no-review policy, or (if they do have a no-review policy) why they would choose to do so.
To be totally honest with y'all I have thought a lot about reviews, and personally have considered whether or not I'd like to have a no-review policy. I believe having reviews does give new clients some assurance that I am a legitimate and reputable provider. Also, it is sometimes very flattering to read about someone having a great time with me!
On the other hand, I have had a handful of bad experiences where clients or potential clients have used the threat of a bad review in an attempt to coerce or otherwise threaten me.
So, perhaps a provider who has a no-review policy is not hiding anything at all, but has opted out of the review board thing?

Audrey,
In my bad experience, telling or "threatening" the provider that she can expect a bad review does have its appeal at the heat of the moment when my bloods started to coming back from my small head to my big head. But honestly, that's just frustration talk and it carries zero weight. I knew that so I pointed out my disappointment as politely as I could and moved on.
Even if a bad review is up, there always will be other hobbyists who believe they have better luck, better charm, even bigger tool than that poor dude and thus they will receive better service. This is how guys think. It won't really hurt the provider's business. So why bother?

Speak for yourself.
If a provider has consistently good reviews, with the random 'no' review from some dude who just joined, or does not contribute regularly to this board, or obviously has an axe to grind, I'll ignore those negative reviews; but if a provider has a significant number of 'no' reviews from regulars on this board (who appear to have half a brain), you better believe I'll scratch her off my list.
On this board, not only do you have to review the providers, you also have to review the reviewers.
And BTW, whether or not these providers do or do not have a no-reivew policy, that's how I feel about the subject in general. I would never, ever spend a dime on someone who didn't allow reviews. I work too hard for my money.

Consistency of reviews' sentiment is a different matter than my point there, and I agree with you on your comment 100% as a reviewer or a reader of reviews. You and I actually are alike in terms of being very cautious and conscious about providers' online presence and reputation. What I said about how guys think can also explains why there continues to have negative reviews popping up after say 2 or 3 bad reviews on a given provider. On other forums, when I posted a similar comment as what you said here, I sometimes receive feedback from couple folks saying things like that: they believed they are better than others (put it as a PG version). And I heard from multiple providers that, as long as they have a post up on a site, their phone will start getting texts and calls (the amount and from who are different stories).
What I suggested is definitely not the only reason or not the only way how guys think. Budget, and other logistical reasons can also explain why people still contact providers with ongoing bad rep. But I'm describing the basic dynamic of the market and why such a threat is very hollow.
In Chicago, there are a few JackShacks in the burbs that have been scamming hobbyists for decades, all the review sites and hobby forums have endless discussions about them, yet, they are still getting lots of new 'customers' to drop big $ for nothing in return. Some just don't believe these reviews and discussion even if they came across the warning. Those scammers don't even bother to change their writing style and content of their ads and they always steal photos from some models or young girls' selfies. I cannot find many reasons that explain why some people still want to visit such places even if they know the ad is too good to be true.
Back in Chicago, I'm in the same position as yours, online presence and reputation are keys to me. But these two are just too appealing to me, so I have to take the risk.
