Yes, but Scooty Libby went to prison for failing to remember the contents of a five minute conversation that he had had two years earlier when asked about it by the FBI. He never outed Valerie Plame but he went to prison for a procedural violation.

How could Flynn have misled or impeded the FBI when he hasn't even been interviewed by them yet?
Well that is an interesting point. Weeks have gone by and the FBI has reasons to believe Flynn colluded with a Russian without ever interviewing him over the matter. I would further conclude that possibly Flynn's plea for immunity is not because Flynn has anything to hide necessarily but rather to protect himself from unfair play which the FBI is often famous for.

It's all the same with these FBI investigations. They often play dirty pool. In the case of Scooter Libby he was ultimately charged with Perjury and Obstruction Of Justice. All this other stuff about lying or not giving a certain detail. The FBI just manipulates those points into something they can get a conviction on.

Oh wait that was politics. ..kinda like this is!

.
The call for Hillary to be locked up was over the nonsecure private server and, more importantly, the cover-up because it involved obstruction of justice. She was never going to jail and Trump knew it. But the "lock her up" chant got his less informed supporters excited.
No one named Clinton, Bush, or Obama will even be charged with a crime for the foreseeable future. Trump lacks the full support of the party to expect that type of immunity. If our politicians can bust him on something, they will. The problem is, there isn't anything to bust him on.

that was a dirty trick the fbi & that special proscecuter played on scooter... a procedural violation. He shouldn't have been charged. the judge also should have known better to play along.

I don't know why bush did not pardon scooter...

I've met a few FBI guys. They are rather strange characters.
