Is a 100 dollar Verizon bill overpaying?
So I have an OLD grandfathered Verizon plan. I use to to 60 gigs of data a month. It's fast. I dont get throttled. I pay 102 bucks a month altogether, out the door for a single person plan.
I'm told I am overpaying. Is this the case? A new Vzw unlimited plan would be much more expensive.

Seems like that is overpaying.
You might check out some of unlimited plans at Wal-Mart and others.
I am recalling Tmobile and Sprint and Att ads of 50 to 70 bucks a month unlimited. But these might be only available in highly competitive cities.

Verizon is offering unlimited data again to new customers, at a much higher price.

I'm paying $180 a month for 3 lines at sprint with no insurance/equipment fees. Only get 8 Gigs of data.
How do you use that much data a month? Tethering/hotspot?

Don't ever give up that plan(if it includes all the extras). The no limit plan is substantially limited, effectively at 10 gb(for tethering), and 22 gb for everything else.

You get what you pay for
Yah,Verizon is always going to be the most expensive carrier out there, at least in the forseeable future, but their network is the best overall at this time, especially in Metro areas.
T-Mobile seems to be closing the gap, but I would rather pay a few extra bucks and stay with VZW, until another carrier DOES close that performance gap.
