Thanks, Slinmo, for the half descent response, but I'm not saying my own are spectacular.

There wasn't much I could do in that situation. I decided to grind it out so I could at least get some valid work experience on my resume. It was either that or find a job at a restaurant or retail store, which definitely would have paid more, but working in chemical instrumentation was all I talked about at the college job fair, because it's the only work experience I have that is related to engineering. So, that's what I did. It was a shitty situation, but I agreed to it, at least partially. I can still bitch about it if I want.

If I can get one of these jobs I applied to at the career fair, my life will turn around. That's all I want right now. I just wish I didn't have a penis so I could stay focused and not worry about this girl and being a virgin.

Being alone is way more stressful than any workload I've ever had. The stress from school is like a quarter of the stress from my anxiety and bouts of depression. The majority of the stress from school comes from the isolation and feeling physically ill from being stuck in classrooms for 8 hours straight listening to complicated lectures and jotting down messy notes. Homework can be a pain in the ass at times, but sometimes fun, too, and studying I actually find relaxing and very up lifting. There's a kind of high you get when you learn something, and there is an emotional response. I've cried after learning something before. And when that happens, other things, like relationships, seem more trivial.

When this girl first left me, I was having panic attacks like everyday. Some people thought I was acting weird because of school or because I was suffering from mental illness, but it had nothing to do with school or mental illness. I go to state college, so it's not that hard, and sure if acting crazy when you feel in love is mental illness than I might be mentally ill.

I'm beginning to think I may go nuts following this thread...........In five years, the OP will either be well on his way to a doctorate in Physics, or he'll be found in the middle of winter running up and down a major freeway (I-270 here in St. Louis) wearing nothing but socks and a jockstrap, and babbling incoherently in what sounds like a cross between Finnish and Vietnamese.........(If it is I-270, God help his odds of surviving)

Get help from who? What does that mean? Are there people trying to help me? Do you think finding someone who wants to help is an easy task? Or am I suppose to travel somewhere for help? How am I suppose to do that? Is a therapist going to give me money or a job or some food? If not than I don't see how he or she is helpful.
