Some of the delay in completing the job this week will be because the Republicans have a "junket" on Friday and there will not be voting on Friday in the Senate. Personally, I find that offensive. Business first; play later!

We now know that Chuck Schumer was indeed playing petty politics by not allowing CIA Director Pompoeo's vote emmediatly, as Senator Cotton accused him of doing.

The Democrats simply did not want the President to be able to personally introduce Pompeo to the CIA that Saturday as he met with them. So they waited until Monday.

I think President Trump should emmediatly schedule another get to get her with the CIA and THEN introduce them to their new Director.

The more you expose the Liberal/Socialist/Progressives, the more Counties will turn Red.

I agree, particularly given the negative press over his attitude.

In fact he should appear with his "security team" with whom and for whom they will be providing valuable, accurate information without being tainted by politics or personal attitudes. Defense, State, U.N., Homeland, Advisers.

"We don't "cook" the information!"

Limited press invited.

Rob O’Neill is the SEAL who killed Bin Laden. When asked what he thinks about General Mattis' being considered for Secretary of Defense, O’Neill said:

“General Mattis has a bear rug in his home, but it's not dead -- it's just afraid to move.”

Don't they need to keep Sessions in the Senate to pass DeVoss?

hold is still on for those 3??

the senate needs to get rid of the hold policy. its not right that one senator tie everything up. this of another form of filibuster.

The Senate just voted to submit DeVoss to a vote, along party lines, and moved her final vote to Monday, I believe. So the Senate can vote to "remove" the "hold," but ....

... a hold on Sessions at this point is backfiring on the Democrats ... some people regret what they ask for .... when the get it. The Democrats game-playing probably put DeVoss in because sessions will be voting for her.

The Democrats/ala Schumer are ignoring the FACT that all these "procedural" games they are playing are just providing precedence for the Republicans in the future when the shoe is on the other foot .... just like what is happening now from what Harriless Reid pushed through because he just KNEW HillaryNoMore was going to get elected!!!!

Finally all this Democrats' crying, whining, and maneuvering is driving up Trump's approval ratings and driving theirs down (or keeping it down) .... Schumer's already getting protests against him BY HIS FORMER SUPPORTERS .... they are essentially calling him a "pussy" for not standing up against Trump! He's a crybaby!

Dems screwed the pooch, if they had fast tracked Sessions approved and sworn in they would have had a chance to keep DeVos out. Now they are just making fools of themselves.

Apparently, Putin is still telling them what to do!
