Not really. 1976 Steelers, 1991Eagles, 1973 Rams, 1985 Bears come to mind. Ravens D was good, not the best ever. Interesting read:

Seeing how this a Cowboys thread if you're going to mention defense and Super Bowl winning teams the 1977 Cowboys Doomsday Defense was impressive to say the least.

They forced 8 turnovers and allowed only 8 completions for 61 yards in Super Bowl XII.

The Steelers D in SB IX didn't give up a score. The Vikings points came off a blocked punt recovered int the endzone. The Steelers gave up 17yrds rushing and 119yrds total. They only gave up 29yrds rushing to the Raiders in the AFC title game. For 3 yrs they just beat the shit out of teams.
