The Bumpkinville Middle School Mighty Orange Orangutans went up against the Superbowl Champs. Needless to say, it was the mismatch of the century. The Orangutans did not fare so well. There was much sniffling. The Orangutans are hoping to make a big comeback next month, but so far the series is 1 zip.

You are seriously out of your mind if you think Trump did well until the last 10 minutes. He was the only one that kept sniffling, drinking water, ugly moronic faces and interrupted Clinton numerous times. It was a terrible performance.
At least back in 2008, when Romney kicked Obama's ass in the 1st debates at least the liberals admitted that Obama got his ass stomped in the 1st debate.

Hard to believe either one convinced a lot of people to change their opinion--I think the supporters of each had enough crumbs that they could find to reinforce what they already thought.

Narrow win to Clinton because Trump lost his cool a couple times. Not badly, but enough to make him look less "presidential". He also didn't drive his points home as well as I had hoped he would.

After reading the comments in this thread I'm not surprised by anyone's comments ..... except it did seem that more Anti-Hillary posters from the past gave her credit, where credit was due in their opinion, and the regular Pro-Hillary posters poured it on about how well she did and how sorry Trump did.

Apparently Hillary Supporters emulate her dishonesty.

Like their Master has said ..... "She will say anything"!!!! VVVVVVVVV

She was prepared, he wasn't. I think he was surprised at her resilience and as the debate went on, he became more agitated and impatient. And frankly, rude to the moderator (surprise!), lol.

I do think there were more questions biased in her favor. Nothing on the Clinton Foundation, her huge speaking fees to the likes of Gold in Sacks, or a more detailed discussion on Libya or Benghazi.

Trump could have pounded Hillary on this; he didn't because...he doesn't come across as a thoughtful, public speaker. Oh well...

My main concern about this "debate" was Trump got nailed on the non release of his taxes, and the "birther" issue. Enough swing voters and so called independents will see this as a reason to vote for Hillary, totally ignoring the fact that she is a lying, dispicable, money grubbing, sexual predator enabling cunt.

I absolutly deplore Hillary Clinton. But so much of this entire political process is based on perception. Trump knew he had an uphill battle, because she has always been able to get away with practically anything because she is Mrs Bill Clinton. I feel he came to the debate unprepared to counter that.

Yes, he made some great points. But to quote a line from a famous movie....."sometimes it is not so important what you say, but how you say it".

Do the debate moderators actually ask questions?

Are the candidates actually supposed to answer them? That would be a nice change!

Lester Holt was dead wrong when he told Trump search and frisk is unconstitutional. That is wrong. Holt was acting like Candy Crowley. Trump was right.

Stop and Frisk WAS ruled unconstitutional by a New York district court judge:

Whether or not it would have been appealed is debatable.

That judge in NY was excused from the case.
