2 consensual adults screwing with money changing hands is hardly a threat to law and order or society. When the "business" comes with trafficking, pimps, money funding other organized crime and the "big 2" things that cannot be discussed on this site, then I imagine they get motivated.

ECCIE seems to be very much about facilitating the former while minimizing the latter things.

I agree but think the main concern is the recent sudden shift of priorities.

Previously LE figured review sites were of low priority but are now realizing they currently represent 50% of all sex transactions. That changes the game rules and the margin of safety in a big way.

Again the thread is just a heads up and of course there have always been hobby associated risks.
The very specific story line about that priority shift made me simply want to share the info.

As stated I assumed the general board reaction would be Pffff. It always is until the shit actually hits the fan.

If even one monger feels better informed about making that risk assessment then the thread was worth it.

You are on a board. What's to keep LE from taking down the web host, getting emails, getting email providers logs, ISP logs and tracing your IP Address? There was a big agency in Phoenix, AZ that was busted about 10 yrs ago. All providers were damn hotties & cuties with great professional service

LE was monitoring them for some time. But once ATF ("alcohol tobacco firearms", NOT your "all time favorite" lol) got involved, it was inevitably all over.

I'm not saying we here are immune to these things. But most likely it would take more than just hobbiests & providers getting together for BCD, GFE, and PSE fun for LE to be of full interest. Knock on wood...

True and if you have no reviews posted why would it matter even if they did? There is nothing illegal about joining a fuck board.

I think the point behind a sting is to catch you in the act or in an incriminating situation.
I agree that it's both illogical and impractical to waste man power just to research and match up reviews, dates, exact places, exact times, mongers and hookers all just to possibly come away with a misdemeanor.
It's all hearsay or even fantasy BS unless they have you on tape admitting to something.

Then again if a provider posts that you are one of her favorite regulars?

Not writing reviews aka volunteering evidence just adds a bit more peace of mind. Not socializing with hobbyists guarantees you won't just so happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Thus the motivation for sharing the news story. Won't matter to the majority but it might to that one guy who was completely unaware or has a false sense of security simply because he's socializing with like minded mongers.

Those who talk about consent. The prosecutors used each review against each League member. Each review from my understanding carried a felony offense. All took plea bargains of course and only two men were charged with trafficking. But don't think reviews are innocent acts of consenting adults. Especially if you have pics and vids as evidence. But whispers is right in that they have to have a reason for some suspected activity such as what these guys were doing. If you're just enjoying yourself, so be it. They may pursue it if bored enough.
