Romo is a FOOTBALL PLAYER.. Don't those guys get tackled every now and again? How come he has to sit out the whole freaking season every time he gets tackled? Guess he gets 60 mil no matter what.

Sad to see romo yesterday. Hope he is okay but those back problems just linger. His passes lack zip lately and he moves around like he is in molasses.

So glad we picked up dak though.

Still want to see romo win a SuperBowl. Maybe dak can win him one.

There's a lot of people saying they hope Romo gets hurt so Dak can come in. That's insane. I don't want Romo to get hurt, but I know he will. The only thing I'm hoping for is that it'll happen in the first game.

HOF as an OWNER..........sure
*keeping in mind the HOF is thought of by many.....to 'tell the story'...of that specific time period in the NFL....meaning GREATNESS is not necessarily a prerequisite anyway.....see Joe Namath maybe

Jerry is THE most influential owner currently (or damn close) and has been for a long time....he changed the way owners do bidness....> showed them how to make (a LOT) more money

Unfortunately...THIS is his ultimate focus .....NOT winning games / championships......earlier ones were 99.9% Jimmy Johnson.....it's NOW all about feeding his EGO......and wallet

Of course, he's (Romo) a football player. But (unfortunately) recent history has shown everyone that he's become a somewhat fragile one. He needs to be smart (uhhh..."smart-er") in how he conducts himself when he has the ball; ie: see Brady...Peyton...etc

Scrambling to extend the play should no longer be an option for Tony; he needs to understand the risk / consequences. At this age, he appears to be running in quicksand...and these defensive linemen chasing him get paid to pound him into the turf.

Opposing defenses have a Bulls Eye painted squarely on his back (not to mention his collarbone). Take Romo out and they go from 12-4 (2014) to 4-12 (2015).....pretty simple math, isn't it?

The additions of Zeke and Alfred (Morris) were meant to bolster the running game. Take pressure off their defense....and certainly take pressure off Romo and the passing game.

The Cowboys' O-line has the talent / skill to make Dallas one of the more prolific rushing teams in the NFL this season. That rushing attack will serve the Cowboys well....and keep Romo upright most if not all season. However....

So long as he understands throwing the ball away when it becomes necessary is a positive play.

Well there goes that theory of keeping him healthy. He's out for 6 to 10 weeks with a broken bone in his back. So all those fans calling for Prescott get their wish. It'll change once he gets rattled and starts throwing ints.

Sweet baby Tebow. This is going to be a good year ... the cows go back 5-11, the Campo years.

Default Maggie, it's OK to escape from the dark side !

So boring !

OU and UH - nothing there, no excitement or surprises - went just like it was supposed to ! Not even a great play here or there !

Good grief ! Texas/Notre Dame - might as well watched reruns of a Cowboys preseason game or Bar Rescue. Should have called it a tie when they had the chance. That game meant nothing to anyone!

Near empty stands too.

Obviously I jest but this weekend had some fine college games.

Notre Dame defensive coaching staff should be terminated immediately. Swoopes cannot throw a pass yet they did not crowd the line. The poor scheme effectively knocks them out of national championship consideration, unless tu becomes much better than average.

The Swoopes "running package" is nothing new....Texas used it a lot last season, in fact. Strong borrowed this from a previous employer (Urban Meyer) when he was an assistant at Florida and the Gators were winning NC's. Anyone recall how Tebow's talents were utilized starting with his freshman year?

Go back and watch last night's game film, especially in the 4th quarter on....you'll see seven / eight in the box often when Swoopes was running the offense. They stoned him several times at the line (however) by the time the second OT rolled around, you could see ND's defense was a step slower; arm tackling, etc.

A bigger concern for the Irish going forward should be allowing a frosh QB to throw for a couple of TD's and almost 300 yds vs their secondary in his very first collegiate game.

Hook 'em!

This doesn't look like your average rookie though. He looks pretty confident.

Then again, there's always Mark Sanchez...
