Location can be confirmed closer to time or however works best for parties. She did the same thing to me:: set appointment on Monday for Tuesday at 11 AM. She told me to call her in the morning for more info like address Etc. Started trying to contact her at 8:30 but no response. Or answers. I think she may have gotten overwhelmed by the amount of responses she was getting and she was not ready for this business. If you have a date and time, and she goes silent on the day of, post a NCNS on the lazy shit TCB whore. If you don't hold them accountable, it will only get worse.

That said, if you get within two hours of the appointment and she hasn't done a final confirm wirh address, set up a back up appointment with an agency for the same time. If you get to one hour out and she still is radio silent, post the NCNS and head for the agency.

I come to this board to do research to inform my hobbying, and I started this thread as an in-kind contribution to other hobbyists doing the same. I included NCNS and the provider's handle in the thread subject since these are the sorts of search terms another hobbyist might use when researching this provider.

I agree that the acronyms we use should have consistent meanings, so perhaps using NCNS was not the best choice. Searching all of ECCIE, I see a range of opinions about it similar to this thread. Similarly, by appointment I meant only an agreement to meet at a fixed time, and at least according to Merriam-Webster's, that's a valid definition. Perhaps in the hobby context, it isn't. Points all taken and I will try to be more precise in the future.

So fundamentally, and with all terms of art aside, I had an agreement, via text messages, with a provider to meet at a certain date and time (and, incidentally, general area of town and session length was agreed as well, forgot to mention that above). We further agreed to set the precise location via confirmation text day-of. There was no ambiguity about any of that. This sort of set up has worked for me in the past, both in the hobby and otherwise. I did my part of that agreement, the provider did not. The reader is free to place whatever label or acronym on this is experience that he or she likes, be my guest.

I think we should all get back to fucking now.

Dorfy has her own set of rules when it comes to "appointment setting". Don't let it get to you. These other guys just know now to put any effort into something when they don't really have a specific location. Generally, if you don't get the specific location sorted just write it off.
