I heard one commentator make an excuse for him by suggesting he was so drunk that he couldn't really discern if the security guard was trying to rob him or not but since he had a gun pulled on him it was logically a robbery in the inebriated mind.
LOL

What would you call it if it were you staring into the barrel of a gun while trying to whip out your cash fast enough to satisfy the gunman?

lol I see you're just doggedly determined to prove a point. Any point.
Depends on what I had done and what they were demanding payment for . If I ripped a frame off a wall and they demanded payment for it and I was being confrontational and boisterous then I'd call it local justice. ;-)

Send him back to Brazil. Face trial or whatever for failure to cooperate and or lying on an official report and be done with it. It's just one Olympian, and not even a good one.

Indeed a fruitless endeavor...also weirdly fascinating, for this reason: fundamental laws of economics seem incongruent with the disconnect between the cost of ignorance, the most expensive commodity on earth, and its supply, virtually unlimited. Abundance lowers the cost of everything I can think of, except ignorance. This puzzles the hell out of me, and I would appreciate it if anyone would explain to me why there's so much ignorance when the costs of it are astronomical. Is there some sort of hidden benefit in maintaining willful ignorance?

Hey bro Lochte lied. That's it and that's all. Now go to bed. The sun will shine in the morning I promise it's gonna be alright.

He can say goodbye to two companies he endorsed. Speedo and Ralph Lauren. They don't want to fuck with him since this shit happened.

Yep. He's getting the Tiger Woods treatment. He will be remembered for this, not his gold medals. Along with the fame and glory comes the responsibility of being a role model.
