It's about time that the stigma associated with prostitution goes away. It's a service product, much like a haircut, chiropractic adjustment, therapy session, or massage. If an individual finds it to be unnecessary, amoral, or abhorrent, he or she doesn't have to engage in the activity. Why do some people get to control the lives of others? Why do we still have archaic laws where people are arrested when there is no victim? How can some people feel it right to claim that their sense of morality must be extended to all people?

For me, the part of it that's a "job" is the labor I put in before appointments. Hair, makeup, nails, skin, booking rooms, etc.

The actual sessions don't feel like work to me. In a way, it's a privilege to get to know a part of someone that they rarely share with others. That's an enormous amount of trust to place in someone you've just met, and I appreciate the vote of confidence I get from my clients.
