Update to Services
I want to first thank everyone who has become a client and enjoyed my service. You have been a delight and a privilege to play with.
Due to some recent events, I will no longer see anyone who is not well established with ECCIE or P411. If I have not seen you prior it will require a meet and greet prior in a public place.
I realize this is going to slow my business down to a dribble, but it is needed to restore my faith in my judgement.
All prior clients will still be able to call direct to book.
I apologize for any inconvenience, however I can not repeat the events of this last week. (Please don't ask, as I will not discuss them.)
XOXOX

Thanks love! So far the only complaint has been, "Why didn't I book more time?"

What does give up his account mean? Like he turned it over to LE?

I just want everyone who has seen or talked to me to know your information with me is protected by HYPPA because I have all of you mixed in with my massage therapy clients. It will take an act of congress to get a warrant for my records due to my medical license and my in home/mobile office. I am just as protected as any doctor's office or hospital.

Actually, HIPAA doesn't provide much protection in this environment. Records have to be released with a subpoena. In fact, it's probably easier for local LE to go after health records than phone records & email accounts, just because it's easier for them to intimidate local providers with a subpoena than a phone company or email provider.
However, if you are talking about getting info without the power of a subpoena, then yes, you are right. Pretty easy to say "I can't just turn over protected information. That's a violation of federal law."

All I know is I mentioned a massage therapist license and HIPPA without hesitation my electronics were returned and all questioning about clients stopped.
I didn't say a word about any clients, nor would I. I don't believe in this crap of trying to save your own butt by dragging someone else down with you. ESPECIALLY when it is only a misdemeanor that honestly they don't have enough to make it stick.

It's HIPAA, and you're just wrong. All it takes is a court order, illegal acts cannot be protected. You can oppose it like any order, and in a federal court you will lose. You will also be paying someone $250 an hour to stop them, with no happy ending. And the level of your address, etc... is just an admin request by an LEO. Your most private MEDICAL info (read the link - it talks about information) is likely protected - but that just requires a more detailed court order - telling them why they need your DNA), but your information is NOT wholly protected.
Read below.

This was a 10 second google search. It's on point. So... no.
Most likely no one cares about your clients information in that sense, but do a goggle search first, and don't make false promises or relay knowledge that would cause a false sense of security.
The hobby is a risk...
Anyway, good luck. Be safe.

What you fail to realize...It was an FBI agent that told me that due to my license, they could not search my devices. The reason they couldn't do so was the lack of a court order requesting they be turned over.
Now had they had the proper paperwork, then the chances of them still getting past all the passwords before my device erased all information (have to love having an IT guy as a client) is not likely. Try to go in through the backdoor and it will erase all the information. Enter the wrong password to many times and all information is erased. Make a mistake on two different app passwords and it will erase.
I am not trying to instill any false security in anyone. I am just trying to show that I have gone above and beyond to protect the privacy of my clientele. To get to client records, you have to have several passwords and I am never giving them out to anyone.
Some people only look stupid. Then there are those who open their mouths and prove it. Thankfully, I am not one of those.
Have a great night!
XOXOX
