That's a given, but .... I would hope that both people will have "vetted" the other one BEFORE the transportation is arranged and prepaid ...

... if they know each other well enough to want to meet "out of state" then they know each other well enough for the OP not to ask advice on a hooker board as to whether or not she SHOULD TRAVEL OUT OF STATE to see a customer she doesn't know well enough to trust him when he says he'll pay for the trip and expenses if she will come and see him.

I just bought a plane ticket for a lady to travel from one state to another and I was able to do so without asking personal information to provide to the airline for "passenger information" because she was already "vetted" and I forwarded the ticket information to her personal email account, which I knew, BECAUSE SHE WAS ALREADY "VETTED"!

So, after wading through all this hand wringing ... I would say ... DON'T GO.... tell him to fly to Houston to fuck you! If he won't or can't, that's your answer! BTW ... I make, and have made, out of state same day business trips on a regular enough basis to KNOW .... he can leave in the morning .... fuck you for an hour or two.. and then return to get home "on time" to "mama," who will never know the difference!

An out of state date with no deposit?

Surely you jest.

Am I wrong for that or would any of you do that ?I mean I understand if your in the next city over but what if that person is on the edge of the east coast.

Unhappy

Travel deposits are standard. And the reality is it's more provable that you are legit. But in his case, he could end up being an empathyless manipulative, fantasy booking jerk who gets a kick out of the thought of you literally rearranging your whole life, investing days/weeks worth of your time planning, buying plane tickets (valued at a few hundred dollars+ on average) not to mention the cost of traveling to and from airports, booking accomodations, etc. all to be sorely disappointed after showing up in city X. This scenario sounds like a horrid story in the making.

Question

Welp, if he doesn't know that travel deposits are a thing, maybe the fact that he could book with a local provider also went over his head...
