Default Seeking Investor - $15K

I am a business major and have been self employed for some time (not just as a provider). I am looking at ALL options seeking investors. If you have capital to lend, are looking for a good ROI, and are able to discuss terms, I would like to have a private discussion. I will not respond to trolls or to those who are clearly not serious. I would be able to repay your investment with interest within 24 months. Please do not waste my time if you are not serious and do not have available capital to lend.

I have been in business for a little over a year, have my first year's tax return to verify profitability, and am looking to expand and grow faster than what my revenues will presently allow. To take you seriously and know that my time and information is notbeing handed out to jokers, I need to see verification of capital available. I would not normally ask for this in environments beyond this one, but considering the circumstances under which we are meeting, I feel discretion is absolutely mandatory. No games, no BS. Send me a private message to proceed.

The desperation is strong with this one.

$100 an hour sessions and bare-backing..... Everything she posts should be in the Alert Forum

Sorry, but as a business major as well I have to correct some of your terminology. If you are seeking an investor, then you are going to have to give up equity, ownership, and some control of your business. It sounds like you want a loan that you will repay in a couple of years with interest - that is a very non-traditional loan arrangement as the interest will compound on the principle being borrowed and you will owe a lot more than if you made payments each month after taking the loan out.

Looks like OP is seeking debt capital. Don't get your terms confused

Perhaps I wasn't clear. I am capable of doing this on my own without an investor. I just want to buy some equipment that will allow me to generate higher revenues a lot faster. Also, I would be making monthly payments for those 24 months. I have no patience for trolls or morons (like Whispers), and will simply ad them to my ignore list and move right along without missing a beat. If anyone is serious, let me know, otherwise, don't expect a public response beyond this one.

Sure, you're looking to secure growth capital via venture debt using a term loan as the instrument. That's fairly commonplace. A hooker on an anonymous escort board soliciting investors? Less so.

Clearly your business doesn't generate enough net income to act as your sole source of income otherwise you wouldn't be here. Expect to pay near usury level interest rates due to the high risk assessment, particularly if you have no assets to secure the loan and are not giving up any equity as part of the deal. Additionally, be prepared for a variety of non-financial covenants protecting the investor from, for instance, any "material adverse changes" to your company.

Also, if you're really a business major you should know that you'll need to provide far more than just your tax return for any prudent investor to take you seriously when they conduct their due diligence. You'll need your tax returns yes but also your business plan, balance sheet, P&L, cash flow statement, and ideally a 5-year Discounted Cash Flow projection. Also, expect to personally guarantee the loan terms regardless of your corporate structure.

Any investor who doesn't require most or all of those things is a damned fool.

Good luck!

P.S. This isn't hobby related so I moved it to the litterbox for further discussion.

Can a mod just delete this thread? I'm seriously sorry that I ever posted anything serious and not hobby related on this troll-happy cesspool. So done...

Nope. MODs don't delete the messes you create just because it's an embarrassment to you.

You can find him posting in the Austin ISO for a hooker to eat a bunch of potato salad and then fart in his face.

No, sorry. It doesn't work like that. We don't delete threads just because the poster doesn't like the responses.

You're welcome for the free advice though, hopefully you'll be prepared when you meet with an actual potential investor.

If you were referring to me as part of the trolls, well, sorry you feel that way but I was being 100% serious...and a business major should recognize good advice when she sees it.

Good luck with your business...
