caveats, and they are kind of gaping chasms. Like the original Australian survey included 7 black guys out of 2177, well at least self identified as black. Only slightly more than the no gays that live in Iran. It is quite possible that all the gays in Australia in 2011 personally knew all 7 black gays and hated them for non-race reasons, but not wanting to personally hurt their feelings just said no blacks, k thnx.

It basically has one survey and a bunch of anecdotes. And of course, as it is the Daily Beast and therefore a joke, the author references a "new Australian study" and doesn't bother to read the study completely to note that the data was from 2011.

Using such a small and non-representative population to make grandiose statements, would be akin to me going to the Blacks on Blonds porn site and saying racism is dead, we are post racial, etc.

I don't believe I've ever been racist. I'm typical conservative middle aged white guy. But I will admit when I was younger I would not have dated an AA girl. Now I occasionally love me some AA ladies. And all the others. Of course Kammye was the first AA girl I hobbied with (I don't think she knows that?!?) so the bar was set high.

I don't think someone should be considered racist just because they will not see or date or have sex with a certain race. Or someone with a lighter skin color or darker skin color fat or skinny. If we were all supposed to like the same thing then we will all look alike. Honestly I respect a man who can look at me and tell me I like a spinner or a white girl that doesn't mean that he is criticizing me or he's racist. I recently met a gentleman who has never been with a Latina before. And the whole time he had a smile on his face because he said that my accent to him was funny/cute and I know he didn't mean that in a bad way.

It's not just race, it can be the voice or the smell.

I could never date a girl with one of those high pitched squeaky voices. I have never watched sex and the city or friends, the girls' voices irritate me far too much.

A deeper more southern accent is much more attractive to me.
