On the road lifestyle
Just a subject for discussion, primarily for ladies on the go or use to travel frequently.
Doesn't traveling town to town get old? A few days here, a few days there...
My being prior military I was used to having to travel what I thought was quite a bit, but there are some on here that have serious frequent traveler miles.
How does that work if you have one or two little ones?
I'm not asking for anyone to out themselves or others, but it is a question on my mind that I would like to discuss and possibly gain better insight or knowledge.

Not a lady, but I was in San Antonio the past 3 days on business and Provider pleasure and thought about the same thing.
When I was younger traveling from DFW area to San Antonio or Houston, staying in a hotel, being in another city elsewhere, no matter if 1 day or 1 week was cool.
Now I travel so much off and on from Dallas area to San Antonio and Houston be it driving or flying, feels like my morning or afternoon commute to work.
I'm sure all hotels rooms look alike after a while. I bet many have memorized every crack in every ceiling above their beds.

I love to travel. It is great. Especially when you can travel and "work" at the same time. As I am getting older and been traveling for a while I did realize I really do miss spending time at home. I had my house for 8 months and only spent 7 days there. Crazy. Now I spend if not every weekend then every other weekend home. I do not host much in the city I live. So when I am home that is pretty much it and it feels great. But, after two weeks of being at home I am ready to hit the road again.

An interesting topic, but I've wondered about it from a different angle: How do providers, especially the younger ones, explain their travels to their families? Do they tell their families that they are Marleting Reps or something to explain why they're in SA one week and Denver the next? Curious.

I would think that if a traveler is bored of the same old hotel rooms, they could AirBnB.

I don't know how it's possible with children, and I would guess that some providers either aren't close to their family or their family knows what they do.
I don't ever travel though so what do I know. Lol

Being a former athlete and doing a ton of traveling over half my life, I can tell you it is the reaso I did not want to continue my career after college. It was a great experience growing up and I got to see tons of places I could only dream of. But it gets old to me. I am definitely a homebody. I love just sitting around and watching Netflix and sports all weekend! Its fun as a vacation but not something I like even just once a month. I even offered my gf at the time a chance to travel with me to Greece for a season and she refused, but I am kind of relieved she did. It wouldve been nice for a week but not for 6 months, lol.
