Panama Trip

I have posted this somewhere else but I think this is the correct place.

I am planning on getting a group together for a fun filled weekend in Panama for the July 4 long weekend. Anyone would be interested.

Panama sucked. That was one of the very worst Van Halen songs ever. Van Halen died when 1984 came out. Loved Van Hagar. Sammy taught them how to be musicians, rather than just a garage band, which they were GREAT at.... before 1984 anyway...

Uh...so yeah, I think an international trip with a group of strangers sounds fun. What harm could come of that?

Ohh yes I can see the confusion. I was thinking bunch of guys can go and see the exotic beauties. Sort of a cool bachelor party. There is no reason to take any lady from here to there. It is great place to visit. You can dream all night for $200-$250.

I can arrange the right hotels and the flights if you guys want.

Yes it is not for everyone. But that does not mean that everyone has to eat and travel together. People can do what ever they want.

EVH was not a musician till Sammy arrived?
You may disagree with the direction EVH took the band but then again.......how much did you contribute to
Their previous success ? That is what your opinion is worth on that subject.

I've been to Panama and it is a lot of fun!! But I got ladies for waay less than $200-$250 per night.....

What ever percentage they recieved per album sale & concert revenues. No doubt we have the same level of "opinion" value on this subject.

RDuke- Eddie gave an interview on this subject. These are mainly his words. You can do your own research. I liked both versions of Van Halen. I am just saying that when they went populist with the album 1984 they lost thunder and became a circus act, imo. Roth's insanity really became apparent. EVH was and has since been one of the world's best guitarist.
