Really when the weather is nice the Plaza is a nice place to be and for a few bucks a cab from Westport to Plaza is cheap. The buses work well between the two also and you get to meet the more interesting people from the area.

She will want to check out the UMKC spots in the area too.

I prefer to work on the Kansas side, particularly Johnson County, and have never had an issue. That being said, I'm not pulling trains, dress very chill, and am my normal friendly self around staff. As for tattoos, mine are difficult to cover, especially in warm weather, but nobody cares.

If you're smart, discreet, and don't channel Julia Roberts in "Pretty Woman", you'll be fine anywhere you go.

I wouldn't really consider myself obvious but I still much prefer areas where people are a lot more likely to turn a blind eye. I generally wear fairly normal clothes and don't have any tattoos but... well, I am an army brat and sometimes I forget that F-bombs should probably not be dropped in mixed company.

lolol That killed me! I do love a city with good public transportation, though. I'm planning to take a UMKC campus tour! Honestly, most of my touring this summer is going to be to scout out schools and if the hobby scene is alive enough to support tuition expenses if I get accepted. I'm super psyched!

Bullshit...so hookers today dress inappropriate and curse while sporting tats, that seems pretty stereotypical and this isn't allowed in Kansas Hotels?...pleaasseee!!
