This mainly goes out to Providers ... but please chime in if you have a thought to convey.

If (for example) a client contacts you on a Monday to prebook for 5:30pm the following Wednesday and you tell him that is perfect because you will be at you incall by 3:00pm ... what obligation do you feel in making that meet time as well?

If on the day of the meet, you determine you cannot make 5:30pm, what obligation do you feel in making it up to your client if ...
1) you let him know earlier that day?
2) you let him know that mid-afternoon?
3) you let him know at 6:30pm that day?

TCB skills are everything and communication is a two way street and
a huge pet peeve of mine.
At the time the appt is scheduled and i asked you to touch base w/me
at a certain time and you don't then i'll feel like you possibly won't show.
However if something has come up with me i will let u know long beforehand,
possibly a day beforehand so i won't inconvenience you.
Now, if an unforeseen emergency has happened on my end and i let u know near time of our scheduled appt or i touch base w/you after the appt time then i will feel obligated to make it up to you somehow, but that's just me as i don't like to be known having
an unreliable reputation.
FTR though, i've never lacked in my communication tcb skills.

Seeking P ... you understood it correctly. I have read many of your responses on many threads throughout ECCIE. My guess is that you DO NOT lack in any skills ... TCB or BCD!

things happen and always will. but you would have to think that by mid day she would know if she was going to be there on time or not and could give you a heads up if she was going to be late or a no show. Unless she truly had a real emergency, letting u know an hour after the appt really reflects bad on her. if you were able to reschedule, it would be nice if she gave u some gesture for the inconvenience, but I don't know what she could do except be flexible on the time

I know I feel bad if I am late or cancel, but it would seldom happen if I set an appt. I saw a post a few days ago from a girl that was looking for an appt because she had traveled for one appt and it got canceled, so she as trying to not have a wasted trip. I thought that sucked, I know if someone traveled to see only me, I would cover her expenses if I had to cancel, I would feel that was the right thing to do

Although I have not had reason to yet, I will give a Provider a NO if she deserves it for various reasons. However, since I physically did not meet with her, I am not going to call her out by name. I know ... some of you will think I am betraying you. If you have to know who she is then PM me.

She had my cell number but never contacted me by phone call or text. I PMd her about 4:30p just to reconfirm as she had told me she would be in place at her incall of choice about 3pm. Thinking she might be running late, I went and sat in a parking lot in South Tyler from 5:15p to 6:15p. I finally decided to head home. She then PMd me about 6:30p with a one word PM ... the name of her incall of choice. One word PM after she was an hour late. I was still available; however, as a matter of principle, I told her I had made other plans due to her lack of communication. She never replied ... Nothing!!

I know things happen! This is her way of making a living. She apparently has a child. So I do not want to run her out of town. If I had of gotten even just an apology and explanation, I wouldn't have thought much about it and moved on! However, her lack of consideration just left me bewildered!!

Unfortunately it seems that experiences like that happen ETG. Many of the ladies seem to not have much sense of time. I doubt that she will get run out of town if you post her name, it may make some guys hesitant, but with how many times all of us have had this same scenario happen to us in the hobby, I doubt it will affect her much if she gets her act together on the communication. A little publicity may get her attention for the next time.

Wow ETG! If youre not gonna call her out then you should not have made this worthless thread then, because
you obviously like smoke up your ass.
How kind of you to give her the courtesy of not putting her on blast after wasting your time etc.

It's her way of making a living? Apparently she has enough money and doesn't need anymore
and kids are overrated. I bet if you would have done this to her you would most likely be blacklisted.
If you can consider seeing her out of all the chicks you could have chosen
the least she could have done is shown you some respect

I think you should post her name, it is information. From what you described, I would have done the same. Especially with no explanation of why she was late. She can always post a rebuttal if she feels she has been "wronged".

Of course thee are not that many travelers in Tyler right now....
