6000 posts in 6 years--about 3 a day on average. You know, it doesn't take very long to type out three posts.

As to my having a life--well, let's just say that I am fortunate enough that I do have a bit of leisure time. Some of it I spend watching ECCIE, often AKA feeding time at the zoo.

You, I see, have on average one post every couple weeks. So tell me, why would someone like you feel the need to post three and a half MONTHS worth of posts in a few days on one thread? To the uninformed that certainly looks and smells like a bit of emotional involvement in the topic. Why so much angst over a couple of ladies no longer here? It certainly isn't positive emotion, so, why the intensity of negative emotions that drive your posts? With no counter hypothesis, the most obvious is what I postulated before--rejection syndrome.

Super dolphin has a valid point. There's no need to analyze his background/personality to understand where it is coming from. It just demonstrates how closed minded people are to go on the attack when an issue with some merit is brought up. You may not like it but it is what it is. I figured I'd opine since everybody else has. None of it is truly necessary at all especially mine that is until I saw the confusion here. I don't see why the man's view can't stand alone without all the attacks on his character.

I for one don't care if someone wants to publically say good bye or not. No rules or laws against it but I find it to be unnecessary as well. A simple mass PM may suffice to those who are interested as super dolphin suggested.
