All I can say is my sent PM box has 3 week old PM's unopened. So if times are tough, it's not showing in at least 3 providers response time. I have the day off today, and intended to have some fun time set up, but it's just me and these crickets hanging out.

It has been slow at my home base but it is a small town and there is alot of younger talent here........I just did a tour in KC and kicked ass...Omaha was a lil slow........but as for my upcoming tour,I am almost booked up! I have been in the biz a long time and have alot of repeat friends that keep me busy on my tours.....also I have good bcd & marketing skills AND my donations are some of the lowest priced for a wide open menu!
Also sometimes the right timing is key to this biz!

I can appreciate the fact that a provider may go to any social event and not get busy from it.
I was late to the last one and found out that 2 ladies had hooked up and left with hobbyists before I got there so I missed meeting them.
I have made or renewed contacts and have had sessions as a result.
As stated, marketing is hit or miss and all opportunities don't work for all circumstances. Only do what is comfortable you.

As far as pricing and business goes, I always considered it a sellers market, and buyer beware. The only one that can set the price for a woman's service is that woman. Do I read some profiles and think she priced herself out of my market? Yes. Do I think some are down right crazy? Yes. But that is their business.
After almost a year, I still consider myself new to this game and I am usually very nervous when it comes time for BCD with a provider. Especially the first time. Meeting a lady at a social event allows the ice to be broken a little and makes it a little easier for me to relax.
I also don't hobby as often as some others due to time and budget. There have been a couple of wonderful ladies that for whatever reason, we just have not have clicked. While meeting at a social won't always solve that, it does help. Any chance of checking compatibility before setting an appointment saves both parties time and frustration.

That sucks. That is a violation of the M&G rules and really puts everyone at risk. Seems to me that those providers and hobbyists need to be reminded of this.

Why is that a risk? As long as they leave the event and off premises, does it matter what they do with their time as long as they don't discuss playing there or play there at the social? As far as I know, nothing wrong with asking a lady to join you elsewhere during a social. But ck will have to ultimately decide that one. Seen many come solo and leave together with someone or come with dates and leave with them.
I can see if they had discussed rates, and more at the event...that might be an issue.

It's a risk as they obviously conducted business during the Social. It's a M&G. Not a Speed dating place. Also. It is kind of rude to take a lady away from a place where time and effort is put in to have providers and hobbyists meet. It's networking for the enjoyment of all. If they had an appointment. Kind of a coinsidence it was during the social.
It's kind of like guys hogging the attention of a lady or following them around like a puppy. It happens and can be frustrating for a guy or gal trying to network.
Again. I am just reading what the rules are. Obviously you can't prove if they did conduct business at the M&G. And if they did I am sure they wouldn't deny it. I just think the rules need to be reminded to people.

I donno. Having been to many of these things, if I didn't have time to talk to someone due to them leaving early, I just take note who it was and look them and their rates up later. A lot of girls can't come and stay for the whole thing and perhaps need to get back to kids, SO, or whatever. So they leave with someone they know or hit it off with. Not different than going to a bar where you might of just missed the hot girl who was there and some dude picked her up. I've taken dates before to socials and times they did have to leave early to get back to just that. No play involved. I agree, it probably does happen, not going to say it doesnt. But can't expect girls to stay for 5 to 6 hours at all the socials. Now if a girl comes and goes in 30 min or so. Lol.

If a lady has RW situation to attend too I understand. But. If they go looking for an appointment. That jeopardizes everyone. It's a M&G. All it takes is one to ruin it for everyone. At the same time. Guys should refrain from this also as to not pressure or put in question the groups security.
It is totally different than a bar. This is a pre screened set of people who are entrusted to look out for the safety of the group. And not just their wants and needs. A bar is random place where you aren't paying for time if you score. Haha
Just saying. Everyone needs to keep it in their pants. At least when they are there. Ha

I agree with you bighurt. Shouldn't come in to cash n dash. Those kinds of things are probably, and more than likely, discussed at the venue and that is a big no no. But if a girl comes in, stays a couple hours and decides to leave with a gent for a nightcap...
So at the very least, if girls are gonna make it out, stay a little while and meet some folks. Which is the way I have always seen it, and for the most part most do just this. And yes, things should stay in pants during as to not ruin things. Or discuss rates at the social, that's why they are posted in showcases or dealt with in pms. Not social venues.

This is why no discussion should take place...
