Over 2 dozen hotels to get lost in.
Midweek, those are full of bored business men from out of town.
Still fairly convenient to most of the metro (except for the southern section).
Touch base with the local gals on specific places.
And the Zona Rosa shopping area can directly compete with Plaza shopping.

But for the plaza, note that the "issue" is at a single hotel that's a few blocks north of actual Plaza.

+1, I hate when they do that. Its probably my #1 peeve. I don't even look at them a second time after they pull that crap. All they need to do is communicate to those they've made an obligation to meet. If you did it to them, they'd be all up in arms about how they got NCNS'd.
