Ahh, my Captain, what an excellent question.
Assuming that a good set of skills is required(without which there would not ba a repeat visit):
Mostly personality, with a heavy dash of humor (just a fav thing for me), with that personality also being able to present the non hobby aspects of gfe (decent convo, a bit of flirt, etc.)
I would also think that an atf label would only apply with a repeat/regular client situation.
Frankly, how could a gal be a guy's atf, if he doesn't come back for more?
Last, I've intentionally left out comments related to what some might consider to be additional benefits of a repeat client relationship even though perhaps part of an atf relationship.

There's probably a different answer from every guy on here. For me it's all of the above. But probably the most important is me walking out believing she enjoyed her time as much as I did. Chemistry, at least the illusion of it, is key.

* great sex, illusion of passion, her having orgasms or being really good at faking them
* great personality, friendly, eager to see me and chat
* the two of us clicking very well, or having chemistry as FrankieP said
* willing to do all of the things on MY desired menu, including FIV, DATY, BBBJ, LFK/DFK
* very appealing to me physically
* compliments me on occasion
* sends me a text every now and then just to say hello
* reasonable rates

An ATF is not the same thing as my favorite "regular" provider.... rockets list would be my wish list for a favorite "regular" girl. ..plus easy to schedule. ..even with short notice... and having Quick visits and half hour appts available...and a local girl. To me, an ATF is more about a great sexual experience..maybe even at a higher price than i can "regularly" spend, or even if difficult to schedule or even a traveling girl. A favorite regular is more important to me than an ATF. Also...no stinky cigarette smell...that is a deal breaker.

We have a list started; all of these things are good, but let us just go to the root of female attractiveness to men.

Most guys can see through the sex with out feelings, conversations with no feelings, etc.

I tried to find who said it, but no luck, that the most attractive thing about a woman to a guy is if she is interested in him.

- Trust
- Humor

And yeah, attraction and great sex - all that is important but I think that's somewhat of a result, not a cause.

I agree with this 100%. If the lady makes me think she is super excited to be with me, that she genuinely likes having me there, that she enjoys our interactions and wants me to return, I will.

The ladies who welcome me nicely, sit and chat for a bit before saying "Shall we get started?", and then see me out the door are ones that I may enjoy seeing, but will never be an ATF.

I agree with this! I feel like this would be when you could tell who loves what they do, and whose doing this just to do this!
