One nice thing about making the decision to move and giving myself a 60 day time frame, is that it gives me an opportunity to put alot of thought into how I want to leave, and on what terms.

One thing that has really come home to me in just the past few days is how deep my roots in KC run. I have formed relationships here that I truly cherish and don't want to sever when I move. I love this community in all of its dysfunctional yet close knit glory.

I may not be certain what the future holds, but I think my retirement may be more of a 'semi' retirement. LOL I"m setting the over/under at 3 months anyways (from the date that I move that is). Whenever possible, I hope to be able to come back for short visits. You can rest assured at least, that I plan to remain connected to this board for some time to come. I love this crazy bunch too much not to tune in for the latest installment of nuttiness!

Wow, that's some news. I wish you the best of luck. Some of my favorite memories of this hobby were the meet & greets that we used to have all those years ago. Seems like forever! We'll miss having you in Kansas City. You know that you can still check in on the board, yeah?

QUestor, yes I certainly plan to remain active on the board, both just to stay in touch, and to remain available for references.

I miss the hell out of the meet n greets we used to have. I always had so much fun meeting everyone. I've been thinking that I would like to arrange one last meet n greet/going away party before I leave, and I was actually thinking about PM'ing you to help me make plans. I know this is something that you've done before. So I'm glad you commented here

Although I never did meet you, your words on this forum have been a source of guidance, compassion, truth even if not pleasant, and laughter.

Stacy, I just wanted to publically say that it has been a great 9 plus years knowing you. You have always had my respect in how you conduct your business, treat your clients and share your wisdom and well thought-out responses on the board. We've shared some political opinions and of course, some great times on your couch and bed.
