My heart is breaking

I knew that someday I would have to make this announcement. I just wasn't ready to do it today.

As of Feb 20, 2016, I will be retiring.

After nearly 10 years of doing this job, I still love it as much today as I did the day I started. But, due to circumstances beyond my control, I have to hang up my g-string and walk away.

My last day of 'work' will be the 20th, and on the 28th of February, I will be packing up and moving to North Carolina to be with my family there. I really don't have words to express how much I have loved every minute of this job, or how much I am going to miss it. I can only tell you that I will be leaving a very big piece of my heart behind when I move.

It is possible that even after I move, I may try to fly back to KC from time to time to stay connected with my clients here. I really don't know. I know that on the 28th I will be leaving, and what happens from the 29th going forward is a blank. Time will tell, but for all intents and purposes, this is my goodbye thread.

Love you all, and I'm going to miss our dysfunctional family.
