Economic strain on the hobby

Is it just me, or is it getting much harder to put money aside for fun? Seems like every time I get a little $ on the side, I find that I have to spend it. What's y'all take on this hobbiest and providers?

I feel ya... every time I get some $$ saved it has to be spent on other things than what I was saving it for.
