My language was loose, the logic is not. Either you've done the research and are ignoring the results, or haven't done the research and are unaware of the results. I assumed the latter (ignorance), and you protest the former (selective argumentation).
In the United States, no matter how you spin it:
More gun control, fewer legal guns, more gun violence. Fact.
Less gun control, more legal guns, less gun violence. Fact.
Not sure what there is to argue about. You advocate for fewer guns. My point is that fewer guns only takes them away from people who don't use them to perpetrate crime. That's not an opinion.
I don't care what you personally believe, just like you shouldn't care what I personally believe. Personally, I think that we should clean out the jails, execute rapists, thieves, and most everyone else, chemically castrate those who intentionally reproduce without the means to support their progency, impeach and criminally try most of our government officials, and a myriad of other things that have nothing to do with what a google search can tell you about the relationship between gun control lobbying and laws, guns, and gun violence.
