It seems to me the "outing" only happens when the person who was supposedly "outed" complains about it. In the case of someone guessing someone's first name everybody that saw the post now knows the persons first name. If said "outed" person wouldn't have complained nobody would know. Seems pretty dam silly to me...and comical.
