One sure method of gaining a modicum of acceptance on a review board usually is to write some reviews of established providers.

Searc out some who advertise "newbie friendly" and try that route.

Otherwise you'll need to get used to the doubting folks.

I may get around to it but I've been a member of P411 for a few years and have no need to see anyone that is "newbie friendly". Thank-you though for the suggestion.

I was a member on ASPD and wrote a handful of reviews. I found the process of submitting a review of MY experience subjected me to a considerable amount of criticism from others that saw the lady in a different manner. I even received direction from a Mod to make changes in a review to my description of the provider as she was offended by it.

I never actually wrote a "No" review but in the comments section I was a little critical of appearances to suit others that were probably more mesmerized than I was.

I approach getting my dick wet differently than others I think and was very disappointed, having relied on others descriptions a few times, to meet providers that were older or heavier or simply less attractive than their pics or reviews indicated.

Austin has been very cliquish — how observant of you to notice. Once upon a time they even used to gather up and contribute goods and services and $$$ to what was obviously a scam Christmas Fundraiser. Unbelievable, right? Do you suppose they did it just because it was the clique thing to do? Or maybe keeping Austin weird?

I think they did it because Austin is filled with kind generous souls who wished to make a difference in the lives of others less fortunate. Thank goodness they've since seen the error of their ways. Wouldn't you agree?

I'm totally mystified by this. I tend to do my playing after coming home, half drunk, and want company right then. I don't make appointments because for me hobbying is what I do when I can't get free pussy. So BP is my go-to because I can call and if my lucks holds, get what I'm looking for in time to get to sleep by 2. When you consider the real providers on BP compared to the rip-offs, I'd say my average is pretty fucking good. And mind, my average would look even better had I posted all my finds, because I found 3 other good ones in the last couple weeks, and 2 bad ones, but I dare not post the bad ones as it will bring my average down; best to let my fellow members get ripped off too.

This community shows even less commitment to helping each other out than ASPD did. So I'm not sure I even get why a lot of you are here, except to badmouth and insult. But hey, I guess if it wasn't for the internet, guys who are afraid of their own shadow would never have the courage to belittle and abuse people. So there's that.

Speaking for myself, I'd rather see a review on that little hottie I've looked at on BP but was afraid of getting ripped off than the 30th review of a provider that everybody knows is awesome.

The Austin ECCIE section is cliquish, as I'm sure other cities are the same with their fair share of invitation-only subgroups and parties that the general public isn't aware. If a review isn't flattering of a member of the invitation-only subgroup, then I expect her white knights to come out swinging to defend the fair damsel in distress, or perhaps the opposite to boast her provider skills to help round up business. It's not different from other things in our lives, it's just they way of doing business.

It's sad really; usually when people band together over a common interest, the more unorthodox the interest, the tighter the group. Considering the focus of this board and how much potential there is to save each other thousands of dollars just by being civil and communicating, it's bizarre, and disheartening, to see the backbiting and belittling that seems to be the norm.
