Just because you don't don't like them - or I don't like them - that doesn't mean they were bad candidates.

You seem to think you should be allowed to pick the Democrats candidates for them. Why?

You sound just as dumb as Democrats do when they talk about "good" Republicans - like Lincoln Chafee - that are always RINOs that go along with the liberal agenda.
Going to rely on that same old myth again. Gore lost, accept it. All the recounts concluded the same thing. Gore lost, just like his racist father lost the 1964 Civil Rights Act vote. Also, no matter what you say or want to believe, elections are not and have never been won by the popular vote. So why keep bringing it up?

As a citizen, I have just as much right to help select a democratic candidate for president if I follow the rules of the state. Some states demand 24 hour citizenship for a vote, others want a six month period, but as long as I (and you) obey the laws I have a right to vote for Webb over that other piece of slime if I so choose.

Since you bring it up, lets talk about other democratic inspired myths;

The man who wrote the SALT treaty was foreign policy expert Senator Dan Quayle.
The man with the Master's Degree in Business from HARVARD was Governor George W. Bush.
The man was called a wimp, the former head of the CIA, a former torpedo plane pilot, was George H. W. Bush.
This are all myths put forward by the democratic party. It seems the poorer the candidates the more myth making the democratic participates in.
The angry, white man who was referred to as a moderate voice of reason until he ran for president was John McCain.
The man who was accused of not paying his taxes for 10 years by a liar and charlatan (Harry Reid) was Mitt Romney and it turned out that he had paid all of his taxes for all of those years.
More democratic myths.

On the other hand, the GOP has said some terrible things about democratic candidates for president before they were president.

Bill Clinton was a skirt chasing sexual predator.
Barack Obama was an unqualified candidate with questionable loyalty and uncertain values.
Al Gore was more about Al Gore than the country.
Jimmy Carter was truly a wimp and more qualified to be a peanut farmer than president.
Walter Mondale was uninspiring.
John Kerry was all about John Kerry, the truth be damned.
Seems that we got it right.

Why keep bringing up the popular vote? Because you made a point to say that the candidates were no good, and yet they got the popular vote. So obviously someone thought they were good. You have a problem seeing beyond your own nose. You don't see them as good, so they aren't good, regardless of whether that's true or not. And then you run down a list of created straw men for whatever reason, and look like an ass in the process. Par for the course.

And your last point sums it up; you'd rather be right than win an election. Being right is all you care about, the country be damned.

"It isn't pollution that's harming the environment. It's the impurities in our air and water that are doing it."

-Dan Quayle

"Votes are like trees, if you are trying to build a forest. If you have more trees than you have forests, then at that point the pollsters will probably say you will win."

-Dan Quayle

Real braniac you got there.

Now this is really insane comment devoid of any truth and mindless of common knowledge on this site.

I am a conservative and not a republican. Which party do I belong to? You don't know or care. Baby Killer just wants to lie and hurt people. As for the party line among democrats versus republicans. Look at the latest vote on the TPA and TPP. Did all the republicans line up like the Nazi Baby Killer said? Nope, they did not. On the other hand, how many democrats voted against Obamacare? None, nada, zip, null, zero. All the democrats walked right off that cliff and Obama sacrificed them to the opinion of the American people and so many of them are no longer in Congress.

So now that it serves your purpose, you admit that conservative and republican are different things.

As for TPA, is that the same TPA that House republicans wanted to fast track? 14 Senate democrats voted for it, dipshit. Only 5 republicans broke rank. What was that again? The vote was 62-37. You're not even right about shit that you yourself bring up.

34 House democrats voted against ACA. That's not zero. Not even close.

"In 2009, 34 House Democrats voted against the Affordable Care Act"

Winning an election does not make one the right person for the job. It just means you fooled most of the people, at just the right time b

Perino boiled the General Election down to four states ... Florida and Virginia .. and I believe Ohio and Colorado. Her assessment was yesterday that Hillary will win if she carries them and will lose if she doesn't ... regardless of who the Republicans run.

Well ... that was fuk'n brilliant!

And what does "Perino" say about the ill fated and ill advised, Spring of 2003 invasion of Iraq?

More importantly, what does LLIdiot now say?

"If you knew during the Spring of 2003 what we know now, would you have (strike the word "still") supported the invasion of Iraq?"

As for me, the answer to the question is "still" NO!

What's your answer, LLIdiot?

Speaking of "news," we have focused so much attention on the Patriarchal Idiot, we seem to have not paid any attention to the Idiot Klan, errr Clan heir apparent.

I hope JDIdiot has not gotten his itty, bitty feelings hurt!

Will JDIdiot follow the Patriarchal Idiot's lead and do his own personal rendition of the "Cut and Run" Shuffle?

Stay tuned, the answer should be forthcoming shortly.

You never addressed my post where you got your ass handed to you, per usual. I wouldn't concentrate on it either.

Don't worry about my ass. It's just fine and still virgin...which is amazing considering how much you hanker for it.

You SHOULD be worried about it, as much as it gets reamed around here.
