Rule change???

I have a question...
How could i go about asking of you guys could possibly consider changing one of the board rules slightly? I believe in the provider ad section we are only allowed to post once every 7 days... It makes it difficult to post sometimes because if i post on a saturday... I can't post again till next saturday... And if im not available that saturday i may want to use my post for that week on Wednesday instead. But i can't because its once every 7 days (instead of once per week.)

I was wondering if i could somehow propose changing the rule for the forum to one post per week in the provider ad section (any day you want as long as its only once per week)....

But maybe there is a perfectly good reason that is the rule that I'm not aware of? Any insight would be helpful.
Or maybe I am misunderstanding the rule?

A change to the advertising guidelines is something that would have to come from the owners here since its a rule that is boardwide, not a KC rule ...so it's not something that we could adjust.

The weekly Ads are once every 7 days ...but you could always wait a few more days later to post your weekly Ad as a way of changing the posting day ...then use your weekend Ad for your weekend availability.

It is usually suggested that you post your weekly ad on a Monday or Tuesday and then your weekend ad on Thursday or Friday. Should provide for plenty of coverage.

Ya but she likes to put her weekend ad at 9:00PM on the dot Sunday so her name stays at top for 4 days. :-) Every once and a while another girl will slip one in a little later at the 9pm cutoff. Kinda funny seeing that ad competition.

Its not just that royamcr, for instance, I'm in Tulsa right now, and am leaving tomorrow. I posted in the provider ad section for Tulsa late in the week last week, so I cant post again till late this week, instead of once a week. I cant let people know today that I extended my dates. If we could post once a week instead of once every 7 days I could post in the provider ad section today, like I did last week for tulsa. But instead I have to way 7 full days.

But yes, you are right! I do like the 9pm spot. But the weekend lineup wouldnt help me today in tulsa, only the provider ad section, which I am not allowed to post in until after I leave town. LOL

A week is 7 days. Once per week is once every 7 days.

You can put tour dates in your signature which you already have done.
