You're exactly right. Take a look at the news clip below. Remember that one? Houston PD chasing a guy on Houston's Beltway. Guy refuses to stop he commits several traffic violations then eventually causes an accident involving three other vehicles and police end up having to use deadly force. This incident didn't get much national coverage at all simply because it didn't have any news worthy content. No Police brutality, police were justified in their actions, no racism, and nothing that would support any argument on gun control. It was reported for a day or so and that's it.
