Time for another Public Service Announcement about checking references via text

So if you do not publish your number and a girl or guy gives it to me and I text you saying "Hey Sugarbritches, how about a ride on the disappointment train?" and when you ask me how I got your number and I tell you that Provider A or Hobbyest B gave it to me, that would be wrong?

All joking aside. Last week I received 2 text messages from somewhat new Providers I have never seen or spoken to on the board telling me that a Provider gave them my number to contact me for a session. Flattered I was, but awkward at the same time. Who do they think I am, daaaaaman?

You and I just had this conversation the other night!

I always PM or email a Provider unless she allows and says it's Ok to text her for a reference.
There is a small circle of Providers I keep in close contact with that have my number and I appreciate how fast those Ladies are about responding to a reference.

It would be terribly wrong!! I had a wife text me a few weeks ago, then 2 random numbers text me for references. Coincidence?? It freaked me out!! I only give references via pm and occasionally email. NEVER via text unless it is a lady I have seen naked and trust and her # is already saved in my phone. 😁. As far as the "disappointment train", where do I get a ticket 😉? I'll need to get a conductor outfit for next time!!
