Keep the faith. You will most likely be hobbying long after they have retired. We've all been there and will probably run into these sorts of things again.

What we'd consider to be common courtesy isn't very common. As many others have said before it only takes a minute or so to send a txt. I think one RockerRick's sig lines speaks well to the issue.

I covered this one back in January. Read the first post here. If they don't respond back to you, assume it's on purpose, because 99% of the time it is.

Fun fact: Most ladies get lots of PMs when they post an ad. Very few of the younger/newer ladies will even bother to respond to your request if you don't make the "cut" for that day/week. Don't take it personally...

Great rant and we've all been there if we've been doing this hobby for any amount of time. It's totally rude as hell! Years ago I just said F it and will go to the AMP's and just walk in if that happens. I know it's not the same but that's my plan. Just my last 2 trips (Indiana and KY) the same shit happened to me. I had to go to AMP's and I named names on their dead ass forums.

I'm sorry this happened to you, and that you got to the point where you felt so frustrated. I don't know if you are aware, but the Ladies tend to go through some of the same issues when requesting references. I'm not going to rehash an old subject here... I bring it up to say, a lot of us understand your frustrations. I'm pleased to see that you named names. Hopefully that will help the Ladies in question raise their game. We all screw up, have a poor TCB moment, or something unexpected happens. It's important to stop, own it, and apologize. Pretty simple really.

I hope you know, there are those of us who strive to meet all expectations each and every visit.

There are some of us who screw up, but actually care and try to make it right. There's really no excuse for ncns, but you never know what might be going on in the person's life. Do NOT take it personally. Hopefully, those in question will care enough to make it right or you get a streak of good luck in the future.

The problem with an outcall flaking is it makes plan B or C more complicated. What if the first one you scheduled with shows up while you are busy with the second one?

Eventually, you will find some providers that are good with short notice appointments. Those are often more reliable, or give you an option if your original plans fall through. It's worth having some extra numbers with you on the way to the incall in case you get a NCNS.

The last time I was in Austin, 3 different providers flaked, but I was able to reschedule with all 3 later. Another provider was available on short notice, so it all worked out.

Ya k ow, it sounds corny but reading all these responses has honestly helped me move on. Sunday night was just one more bad experience than I cared to deal with and I had to rant about the past few weeks. Feeling much better now so thanks to you all. Somewhere out there is a lady I'm going to want to spend my hard-earned hobby dollars on over and over again...just got to keep rolling the dice I guess until I find an ATF again.
