my post was in reference to the above. sure some are probably only here for that and don't care to socialize. maybe one of the reasons they are here.

In order for one to "decipher the obvious", that would mean that what both of them said was factual. I've been here long enough to know that it's not. There's alot to be said about a self-culling herd.

Plenty of newbies come and don't have a problem with being accepted, it's only the ones that post moronic things that get ridiculed. Case in point ^^ your two examples above.

I would dare to speculate that none of the adults here are "afraid" to speak up. That's an excuse said 'tards make up for why no one runs to their rescue afterwards.

There are enough lurkers here whose handle you never see unless they send you a pm that gives plenty of business. Why? Because they don't read anything but ads and reviews; they're here to get laid. That's the target market I always catered to, and what keeps most of the chicas here in high heels.

It is beyond me why some people would prefer a draconian "nanny state" board as opposed to one where freedom of expression is allowed.

If more people elevate the level of conversation and ignore the trolls it "fixes" itself organically. Trying to forcibly create a "kinder, gentler, warm and fuzzy" corner of the internets is a farce.

you might say it's not factual but from what I know from PM's I've gotten it is at least partially factual. do I care? not really because I don't have a problem speaking up whether or not I agree. I seriously doubt anyone that doesn't care to post because of not wanting to be roasted would PM you or other members they take as less than friendly.

no one said anything about some newbies not being to hang. case in point the examples you mentioned. Hardhat spoke up and continues to speak. he didn't let anything get to him. that was another point.

I'll admit "afraid" as my lacking in balls post could be taken might be to general a term.

as for "reading" ad's and reviews. well that's used pretty loosely with some of them. something else I know from PM's.

And nobody wants a negative reputation on a local board, because it might effect your seeing new talent. So, most stop posting and leave the 2% to devour their next new victim. The only thing that will reverse this trend is set a limit on the number of posts you can make a day - forcing the 2 to 3 % to choose what to say and when and limiting the attacking and crap comments, because you don't want to waste one of your comments on just spitting out bullshit, or the MOD's have to step in and make sure the mob stays under control. As long as you just let the beasts run wild you are going to have a jungle and civilized people are going to live somewhere else. Heck ... if the point of a board is to just let people run wild then why even have mod's in the first place?

You could always start your own board, and just have polite whores and johns as members....you could call it pleasant ville or happy land. it would fail miserably much like your boring ass threADS....but you could try! we wouldn't think any less of you....than we already do..imho

Heh, friendly? I'm very friendly thank you very much. I'm just have a short tolerance for idiots and I'm not particularly nice when expressing that fact. I would venture to say that most of the people who some others have expressed aren't "friendly" enough, probably has the most advice/experience to offer, you only have to be seated in reality to receive it.

I get alot of unsolicited PMs by members who rarely post about everything from sessions to provider advice to ranting to music. As much as some would like to believe this fantasy, it's not. There are real people behind every handle, and life happens whether one likes it or not. There is someone for everyone, and not everyone gets all ate up with things they read on a hooker board. So for the ones who are, I feel sorry for them because being a pussy is no way to go through life, and the others who are here to get laid, rock on.

Its difficult to find anything here that is factual. What I stated was my opinion. I guessed at 1,000 members, and from what I've seen, about 20-30 major posters. Sorry if what I said was taken as fact, ya'll really should know better. This is a damn hooker board after all.
