interesting hotels
Ok I am gone from Iowa so I can tell this story....
I was at a "what I thought was a supposdly nice upscale 3 star" hotel in downtown DesMoines..........lol what a joke.........It is a historic old hotel with antique furniture,...........I asked the desk guy to come show me how to turn the air conditioner on...He came in and opened my window. He says that they have no air conditioner cause its an old hotel...he then says they have fans on the roof that circulate thru to the rooms if you open window and turn a certain switch on...WTF???? I never heard of such stupidness!!! I had to go buy a fan from Dollar Store..and now it can get very loud outside with a window open!!
I found out that the hotel was built in 1918 and hosted over 10 presidents/Charles Lindberg/and even Mae West!~
kinda cool to know the history...even though the hotel was worn out & uncomfortable...they are going to close it and do a huge renopvation.Might be a cool place then!

Downtown is not the place for incall. Everything is old except The Marriot and the Embassy Suites, which are expensive. Your client will have to pay for parking, if he can get any close to you. Downtown hotels work better for outcall. Stick to the suburbs.

Downtown hotels v suburban
I too prefer the suburban hotels to downtown, although there are mighty nice downtown hotels, including the Locust Suites & the Hyatt.
But parking is a bitch, I worry about DMPD and western suburbs are just more convenient.

the beds were like the quality of Motel6...the tub would not drain...the pillows were all lumpy....the elevaters did not come all the way up to the floor and left a "lip" so I stumbled out of the elevater couple times...
It did serve its purpose well enough though
Thank God I paid under $60 for it!

Even though I'm basically dead, when I was plowing through the pussy at warp speed, I would not go downtown. Just ask Kay2Day and you know how god damn hard it is to pass up that fine piece of American poundcake. Way to much hassle.

When I checked into my hotel on a recent trip, I said to the lady at the registration desk, "I hope the porn channel in my room is disabled." To which she replied, "No, it's regular porn, you sick bastard."

I like someone close to downtown, quicker for me to get to these days. However, I agree the hotels are either crappy and old or way too expensive. Having said that, I will drag my horny ass wherever I am told. Right Kay and Dallas? Miss you both!
