I appreciate the feedback lately I have gotten a huge number of friend request on Facebook even though my life is pretty boring I wouldn't want anything I post or have past posted end up taken the wrong way or used against me I feel like eccie is more of a fantasy life I can be anyone I choose to be and no one knows the real me I like that would not want my real life and fantasy life to get mixed up

I had a class at UALR with an provider. I was more freaked than she was. I made contact with her and she said she was nervous when she first saw me and I told her I didn't care about the other life she was living and she said she wouldn't bust me out or anything. We were in groups together in the class and kept it at that. One day she felt like she could talk to me and we ended up going lunch and got something free out of it. Lol if you play the cards right it can work out for you because I didn't have to pay and no money was even mention.
We are friends on Facebook.

I use FB strictly for keeping up with friends and family, so I won't even "friend" folks from work. There is no way that I am going to "friend" a provider, unless there is some other real life connection or some other explanation for the connection (and there's very little chance of that ever actually happening).
Glad you got past the stalking! That is all.

Yes I'm glad I got past it as well. It was very scary and over whelming for sure and like most other providers I have a lot of personal friends and family tht don't Kno wat I do and I use FB to post pix of my kids and to keep in touch with friends and family. I don't except nor request anyone tht is a client from work. But lately I've been getting a ton of requests from clients and other men. It's because of u Selena lol we became friends on FB and they pounced on me like fucking peranas lol. Luc u tho and I wouldn't unfriend u for nothing.

That's a different situation in your case. If anyone asked you can honestly say we were classmates. I'd have a difficult time explaining why I was friends with some 25 year old female from NWA. If my kid wasn't at U of A I wouldn't be up there. Besides him & his roommates the only people I know are a couple of providers. It would be a sticky situation lol

I would NEVER send, or accept, a friend request on any of my personal life social media accounts from someone in my hobby life. The word is DISCRETION and that is the one thing I require above all else. I only know a couple of providers' real names and that's just because they weren't very careful and accidentally sent me an email from their personal email account and it had their real name on it. I actually helped one provider be a little more careful and helped her set up her ECCIE and P411 accounts. (You're welcome to everyone who has had the pleasure of meeting with her)

To me it's just like oil and water,, they just don't mix. I'm not interested in the providers "Private World" and I hope the feeling is mutual. We pay for a service they provide just like any other professionals we hire, and I don't "Friend" them either.

Using real life info, no. Using a social media profile that reflects a hobby persona, maybe. Even then I would be leary because of the possibility of accidentally being outed by myself. All it would take would be to log in once on a shared device and then forget to log out and clear everything. Having said that, I have never even seen a provider i recognize on FB so I guess we really stay in different social circles. Now monster truck shows are a different story!

I am FB friends with a couple of select providers that I know well and have long term "relationships" with. I'd be VERY careful about accepting a friend request from anyone that you haven't known a long time and know their temperment. We all have too much to lose.

With rare exception, I prefer not to mix my personal & professional worlds.
I think that Facebook is a bad idea, unless it is a Facebook account solely created for a hobby persona.
I've occasionally had clients find me on FB and send me friend requests, but personally I find it offensive. Unless I have invited you into my real life, it is not a welcome intrusion.

I heard of hobby twitter accounts not so much FB. Either way it's a good idea to let the provider to send you a request ijs boundaries. I follow some providers on twitter but they have hobby account meant for that as due i.

i do...
I have a hobby "tarablonde" fb page....have only seen 2 of my frnz & one possible shit-starter(back me up gin).... i think social media is the devils playground! I think other providers will agree that this playground is much safer...and more fun!!
