Great Thai Food!
I found a great little place for Thai Food over off of Blanco. It's called Sawasdee and it's definitely off the beaten path and a great place for a little rendezvous.
Enjoy!

So far my favorite Thai has been Thai Spice, but I'm known around there. So your suggestion sounds great Charlotte.
BTW, were you ever successful in your quest for great Chinese in San Antonio?

I was not. I'm still on a quest for good Chinese Food.
I like this Thai place because it's nice a quiet and the Beef Yellow Curry is amazing.
I even saw a whole table of Buddhist Monks there one time!

Tongs Thai is still my go-to even if its a little Americanized. Basil clams are the best there. Thanks for the new place to check out!

Thai Taste on Evers and 410. IMHO, the best Thai ever. Coolest part, you select how hot/spicy to make your food.

On the NE side there is Bangkok Cuisine on Pat Booker and 1604, also near there if you want to try a number of different items, for lunch Thai O Cha, also off PB near Randolph AFB, has a buffet that is pretty decent. On the NW side I like Thai Bistro and Sushi on De Zavala in the strip mall just west of the Post Office there.

Chiongo, or Chiango just off Broadway near Shell station on the left heading north of Loop 410 is also great and you can also determine heat. Their mild is hottt!

New place I just tried was pretty good Indian buffet, if you like spices. Cafe Bahar, near Wurzbach and IH10.
Also Bombay, for something a little more cozy, on Wurzbach.
