Flora, I am seeing that trend on the AL, Ga, and panhandle forums as well. I can't speak for the rest, but for me, the lure of a $150-200 crap shoot has waaay too many risks involved to even look at those dice, much less pick them up and roll them. For me the little extra spent for a well known, respected and reviewed lady is actually money spent wisely. It's like hitting the jackpot every time you pull the handle on a slot machine. But hey, I have never been accused of thinking inside of the box either!! BTW, I just saw your retirement date, looks like I'm gonna have to make another trip to Mobile very soon, I still have that candle you liked blowing out, we will have to put it to good use again! -

Flora I agree with you 100%! I don't think it is as much of the bargain as it is availability. The guys on the coast should feel lucky due to they have several good providers to choose from. Unlike the Hattiesburg area where we had around 8 regular providers in the local area not including the providers like yourself that travel to the Burg when I entered the hobby several years ago. We now only have two regular providers and they are not always available during the day. I and many others rather play during the day time hours. Unfortunately I even started looking at BP due to there is no one available a few months back. But I will say that I haven't lowered my standards to sleep with a crack head. It is one hell of a gamble though. I made several attempts to meet a few ladies off of BP and I have ended up turning around and leaving due to they are not the same person in the pictures or of other. So the end result on BP has not been great so I no longer use it. I did have some that worked out a year or so back. It seems that BP has gotten worse than in years past. I have decided to stay with verified providers in the future. I have found myself having to travel more now to find providers available. I believe many of the other guys on ECCIE are running into the same problem with finding available providers which has led them to BP and lowering their normal standards to what's avaiable during the time they are able to play. Most guys on here know that quality can not be replaced with quanity or trash. Hopefully the Burg and other cities in the state will receive some new providers in the near future and keep our current ones around. I'm only speaking for myself and assuming the above is what the other guys are dealing with as well. Maybe some of them will also share their situations.

Its the catch-22 again. If the gents would express an interest in the ladies that want to visit, you may find your cities FLOODED with good girls.
Speaking for myself, I can't afford spend over 100 a night for a hotel and HOPE someone makes an appointment. If there is no interest in a certain city, I would rather stay home and pay my house note with the money I would spend on a hotel.
And whatever happened to the notion of saving up? I mean, we ladies save up to buy ourselves something special. A sexy pair of shoes, a new clingy dress to accentuate our curves, or tickets to a show. And this is supposed to be a "hobby", right guys? To me that means saving a little here and there to get that classic car part, or that new sight for a hunting rifle, or for renting some good company!

I, myself, have learned a new found respect for being in a man's position of hobbying. The S.O. and I play occasionally and I know what it is like to spend hard earned money and get shit on by a well reviewed provider. Like Nicolet said, it is a catch -22. A wise friend told me once to chalk it up to the stupid tax law (haven't quite figured out what that meant exactly). There are way too many others out there that will give you the experience you seek, for equivalent or lesser than you spend the time before. Always stay with the reputable ladies. Look for the ones that ask the right questions that show you that she cares about her safety and it speaks silently to you, letting you know you are in good hands.

I understand wanting to save money and have diversity...hell my nickname to some is pussy galore! I love seeing new ladies come about.
I will say that it kills me, to know that some of our well respected clientele on this board are stooping to the ultimate low in selection.

I once attempted to attain a reference from one of these lower ladies and she said the guy was good (keep in mind it was for a 24 year old male). Shows up at my door, and I asked the k*d if I could help him with something. He asks, Flora? I said I'm sorry but I need to see your ID. Pulls out older brothers ID. I made him go get his real license. Turns out he was WAY underage!!!

I then threatened him to leave my property before I call his parents. He left. I called said reference and let her know that he was a minor and was told oh well...it was money! WTF!

There is a healthy look we all strive to go for...why lessen yourself to save a few dollars and go with a lady that looks so strung out in her pictures? I mean, seeing a chick in a chair all fileted out, attempting to look sexy, but yet looking awkward like an emaciated walrus because she is so fuckered up...

I agree girls ,Good client are getting harder to fine.I was in town Thursday and seen a client and when we were done he gave me 75, less then what he should have and said is that ok. Its almost getting to the point where we ladies should say, 'why bother?', in terms on being on this site. Of course the hobby is about variety, but its also about SAFETY.
I think I came into this right around the time when the "pussy posse's" were going out. Since I was late getting into the game, I missed out on the camaraderie. But I remember reading about it, and its a damn shame its gone, even if I were never part of it. It simply made sense to me.
There were enough ladies AND BUSINESS to keep everyone happy and most importantly, SAFE.

I'd like to add something and ask a question or 2. It is not at all my intent to stir or offend in any way. First, I'd like to start by saying I've lurked ECCIE for awhile now and have nothing but respect for most of the women (and men, for that matter).

The subject of 'not having enough good clients,' to paraphrase, struck a chord (or maybe even a nerve) with me. See, I've hobbied pretty much all over the world, but never in my own back yard. Recently, I decided to add a little more variety locally as well, so I took the plunge, posted my last review, and got P411 verified...because I know I'm unknown locally.

Since, I've contacted a few providers and even an agency, basically saying 'hey I'm interested, what else do you need for screening besides P411?' All of these inquiries were to well reviewed ECCIE or P411 members, even a couple that were referred to me in the men's board here as a good place to start. My responses so far? Crickets.

My first question is could some of the 'reverting to BP trash' have something to do with the lack of timely responses from folks on these 2 sites? We (potential clients) do our due diligence and take the steps recommended and there doesn't seem to be any urgency on the provider's part to even respond in a timely fashion.

(DISCLAIMER) I have not contacted any of the ladies that have so far posted on this thread.

I understand the safety aspect of it, but am also a grown man-if you aren't interested, say so, but by all means RESPOND. My impression (maybe my optimism) is that a reasonable response time would be 24 hours. Is that not typically the case?

Further, is there something else I should be doing that I'm not? Unfortunately it just seems to be WAY easier to hobby when I'm out of the country.

Again, I'm really not trying to offend or stir anything, I'm just a bit perplexed. Any comments or thoughts are certainly appreciated.

I went through my inbox all the way back to July of last year (yes some people call me a media packrat); I counted 35 missed encounters and VERY FEW were my fault (being out of town, sick, booked). YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE GUYS; I know timing is everything in this business but I do reply promptly and then I wait...and wait...but "the night's still young".

Like I've mentioned before, some providers have families, jobs, s.o.'s, traveling/touring constantly; there are a few providers like me that stay put MOST of the time.

So I'm sorry but it falls back on the guy in my opinion in most instances to follow up/tell someone they're not interested like you mentioned/keep trying...

The moral being is yes some Eccie guys do try but give up too soon or turn to other sources for providers; tis causing the ladies to turn to other sources for clients i.e. BP; TER etc...

I guess in a perfect world Eccie guys would see Eccie ladies and vice versa but there is no such thing as a perfect world - I guess as long as everyone's needs are being met (the ladies their business and the gents their WHATEVER NEEDS); its' all going to be okay in the long run.

As far as those MISSED ENCOUNTERS, some will have a second chance and some have been blacklisted unfortunately due to their own irresponsibility and due diligence.

I respect that a lot of times some of the fuqtards get squirrelly. Sometimes, though, we don't. This would be one of those times where I'm not. Sincerely interested in getting screened by a few, getting a couple +1s on 411 and opening up diversity here locally.

As this is a COMPLETELY different environment to hobby in, I'm really looking for a solid answer to my question of what is a reasonable amount of time within which to expect a response.

It depends on your method of contact.

Depending on how the ladies TCB skills are as well.

A standard phone call and a voice mail is best with me. If I cannot answer atm, I send a text normally asking who person is and if it is a good time to talk before I call. Which is within the half hour.

Private messing sucks balls for me because even though I may be logged in, it doesn't mean I'm glued to Internet access. Sorry my life is too important lol.

Email, I will check frequently but not as good as a phone call. It may take me up to 4 hours to get back with the person.

I would say at least a 2 hour window for most.
