I know this may seem stupid to 95% of you but.....

Can we stop with the Asian thing in the headline of ads? Especially when you look like the closest you ever got to being asian was going to an asian spa to get your nail and hair did!

I know, us guys are suckers for wanting to see asians, so yes we click on the link. But Asian means you look asian, you have the characteristic features of an asian, you are the size of an asian.....you ain't some amazon, with penciled on eyebrows which you think make you look asian!


And yes, maybe your grandmomma got knocked up by a GI back in the Korean war....but if you don't look asian, you don't look asian.

This foolishness has gotta stop, it is like a white woman saying she is french cause she is white and watched a french movie and now has a horrible french accent that she says the 3 phrases she memorized. Every white person can claim saxon, viking, french, german, irish, eastern european...but what is the point?

We all share a common ancestor, so yes we are all technically Pangaean I suppose.

While your rant is a good one, how about the one that says in the Headline "Review Specials" or "New Menu Items"......then you open it up and it says "Please contact for details".....Why not just put what your review special is, or the new menu items? Hasn't it been said by MANY ladies that they don't like being contacted by someone who seems to be "fishing" for info and wasting their time? This is my rant....

I think many of the providers avoid putting "black" as the race or doing things to suggest they are not black. They are mixed, they are asain, they are latino..... doesn't matter to me. Its their business and they can call themselves whatever they would like.

If I like the look the attitude and the menu for the price - I'll call.

And, respectfully, if the only "misleading" thing you see in an add is "asain" then I suggest you look into "mature respectful gentlemen only" "guaranteed to please" "the best you eva had" and the like.

There is no one way to look Asian, unless you're buying into stereotypes. Also, some people are mixed-race. For example, if someone has a parent who is Asian and a parent who is Black. Then they are both Black and Asian. They are not less "authentically" Asian.

In terms of provider ads, I'm sure many ladies on here go out of their way to look like what they say they are and represent themselves accurately. Especially if they care about their reviews, credibility, etc.

If you're looking for an Asian provider, or specifically an Asian provider who is not also mixed-race, perhaps post an ISO.

No one is saying someone is or isn't part something or other......asian is specifically the sterotype asian look You search google for asian porn, no one expect to see black girls. Plus there is no hour long get to know you session to learn all about your background. When guys want to see asians, they want to see a girl who looks GASP, stereotypical asian.

Wasn't there a thread about this....shit could be years now, about how some black girls specifically on backpage were manipulating their pics so that they looked white, or atleast less darker toned.

Not here to debate the self esteem issues, and market variances.

Lol, there was one girl claiming to be asian, was a mean mugging latino chick who looked like she was about to jack someone's ride. Lol, not sure who would find her attractive with that scowl on her face, looking like she want to bite off the old Guvnor.

There was a black girl, no lie, her fake eye brows almost merged with her hair line.

While I was going to post my most recent ad, it was rather obvious what ad you were likely referring to. ECCIE is by no means the ACLU, which is fine. Politics is probably not the primary reason people are on here.

However, if someone posts "Ebony and Asian" in the headline of their ad, I'm not sure how they are being misleading. The point I was making is that someone can be both Black and Asian, which means they are not being misleading or inaccurate if they also put that they are Asian in their ad.

Also, I'm confused how anyone is taking things too seriously by posting a variety of opinions on a public Co-Ed discussion post.

Why does everyone have to be victims or have to try and explain stuff? Like I don't know the reasoning or I am not knowledgeable and it is peoples god given destiny to educate me on such things?
