I cant decide if I want to participate in any religion....
cant understand why the great being who created the earth insists that it is important to not eat meat on Fridays....
Idk then again i havent read the bible {which was created by man lol}
Aaaaaaand I dont see any of the animals on this earth following this ritual and lets be honest arent we all just animals lol?
IDK maybe i need to try harder to find God. Lol

I also gave up religion for Lent. Makes it easier.
Not that I had any to begin with, LOL!

Everyone has their rights to their own beliefs, mine being agnostic...I don't think I should have to bow before an invisible man that I have no irrefutable evidence of his existence. Therefore, me != lent..

On Fridays, its salmon, the other pink meat.Man, I’m going to burn!

No, really, to me lent is a time when I use personal intospection and reflection on how I can try to be a better person. Treat others a you wish to be treated. Try to be a charitable, generous person.

I don't give up things for Lent. I was raised to do something challenging that would be a sacrifice, such as pulling weeds in the garden for hours, praying for different a person per each weed pulled. Spending more QT w/family & the Elderly is good, imo.
I dig the Doing something positive, activities & volunteering helping others, rather than removing something simple from your life temporarily.

I quit giving a shit for lent. heheh

Really though, I'm an atheist & it doesn't affect me either way.

I'm one of the nice ones though, I refuse to chastise anyone for their religious beliefs, even if I disagree with them. When I am around people who pray, I bow my head because it's my way of respecting their decisions.

I like logic & science more than religion.

Everyone has a different approach to things, it's important to remember we are all human.
