I'm used to driving long distances because of where I live. It gets warm in the car so I guess it's little or no difference for me.

I would say it's pretty much the same sans blizzard cancellations. My touring usually slows down every winter because I don't feel like going anywhere. I'd rather cozy up in front of a fire than drive hours through the tundra.
