Hmmm not a bad viewpoint but I'm actually pretty good with where I stand no matter the persuasion. It's the people who disagree with me that get butthurt and feel the need to circle jerk. As for this board sure but I've seen nothing different from this board than from any other news board with dissenting views. Well maybe one thing on real political boards the people aren't primarily from Texas and tend to think more critically and outside the box.

Also why do people keep saying "on this board". Is there an implication that everyone posting here has to think lock step or is it assumed that everyone is either dumb or childish and incapable of a decent rational thinking conversation?

The sticking point from the Government's perspective is taxation ... as usual, the government wants its cut.
