one of my friends had his post-high school education paid in full by the military and all he had to do was join them for 6 yrs post medical school.
smart guy, not a lot of money, is now a ortho...paid for on the taxpayers dime
he spent time in iraq training.... post graduation, well worth it

wtf are you talking about?
so if kids didnt take social studies, they'd go try to invent the wheel?
I had 11 yrs of social studies
I took CC westren civ when I was a Senior
I have ONE class on GOVERNMENT, they should teach that more.

school is around for kids to go out and be able to contribute to society......
learning whatever popagange about columbus/magellen/cortex has NEVER been useful to me, except in trivia games.

Every discipline benefits from knowing about what came before, bigcockpussylicker, whether your talking about science and math or government and diplomacy. Like Newton said, bigcockpussylicker, "If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants."

These are Missouri's Social Studies grade level expectations for grade levels K through eight, bigcockpussylicker. It looks like they were trying to teach you about government, but you weren't paying attention, bigcockpussylicker.

and a friend always complained SHE could not get money, but her friends, of equal income/not as smart, could BECAUSE they had kids.

so she didnt have kids at 17, while they did, so she can't find money to go to college, but they can?>
does that make sense to not help those that do everything right,,
I'm not saying don't help the teen moms who are smart enough and have the drive to go to college, but help those who don't have kids and just want to go to college.
good grief
No, just a little. You likely aren't falling into the parameters of the people Obama is trying to "help" anyway.
