Amarillo or Midessa

I am about to graduate and wanted to get out of the city for a day or so just for fun.

Would it be better to go to Midessa or Amarillo?

May prospect for jobs since I will be obtaining my masters.

If you are looking at tourist activities Amarillo has:
American Quarter Horse Museum
Panhandle Plains Museum
Palo Duro Canyon
Helium Monument
Discovery Center
Big Texan Steak Ranch
Cadillac Ranch
Bar Z Winery
River Breaks Ranch Sporting Clays

As far as Hobby entertainment you have the access you need to make an informed decision.

i'd have to say midessa is a better hobbytown. both areas are kinda weak but Amarillo is definitely the weaker of the two.... hobby on bruh

More traveling providers go to Midland/Odessa Than Amarillo and Lubbock combined.

I was looking at just as an outing and not hobbying...

But it won't hurt to peak lol

If you're just in it for the outing I'd say head towards Amarillo and check out Palo Duro Canyon especially if you never been.

You can ride horses, hike to the lighthouse, there's Devils Slide if your brave enough but I'm not sure if it's still accessible and picnic too. Take a lunch or cook out.

There are mountain bike trails.

If you are just looking for an outing and those are your only two considerations then Amarillo is the place to go.

Amarillo - Hobby place - we ain't that good. UTR possibilities abound. Midessa has way better board opportunities. However, as your last comment said - place to hang out enjoy watch fb hike in canyon eat good grub ok.....Amarillo beats the armpit of Texas called Midessa. (before anyone flames, I didn't call either of those places by name lo.)

Besides Britlovesme and maybe Layla Lewinsky, would be the only 2 people I would visit.

I just need to get out of the hub to take in some sights, travel and see the rest of Lubbock.
